Creative, although potentially contusion-inducing, center island.
Pretty use of tile as backsplash and behind the vent. Almost like paint or wallpaper in effect. You could do this when you replace your hood.
Blue walls, like you have now, with updated cabinets and countertops. Interesting banquet seating, PLUS an island.
Small island. Needs some lights over it.
