Hanging washable hampers to sort laundry. All it requires is some hardware and then I could sew or buy cloth bags to hang under them. Cheap, utilizes space and washable.
Also, if we have space for a folding counter having those rods above it for hang dry clothes would be an easy convenient add on.

The utilization of the space above machines for maximum storage, all the way to the ceiling. Closet door would hide stored items so it wouldn't look cluttered.
