Have washer and dryer on raised section that would allow shallow laundry baskets to slide into nooks or drawers below. Or laundry basket shelves built in off to side of washer/dryer?

I like the look of this laundry room. I know it isn't consistent with lodge style, but if there were a way to make the laundry room have a lighter look along with some more rustic elements, that would be nice.
