I don't like the slanted out wall. Other than that this house is perfectly in balance with nature. Just a piece peaks out at the water & the rest hidden away in the trees. It probably feels a bit like a tree house inside!

It would be cool to do a futuristic take on a hobbit house. It could have all sorts of wavy pieces of steel or concrete. Larger windows would look more modern of course.

This photo is apparently the inside of a Mill Valley cabin! It looks so fresh & airy. I like how the sky lights are long & rectangular to mimic the long rectangular window on the left wall (tops off the windows & carries onto the roof design).
