This is similar to our half wall, bar top, theater concept. They have drop the celing a little which is kinda nice for separating the spaces. Doing this would also hide or blend in the HVAC drop that runs the opposite direction and goes right over the bar top? The sectional couch may be more practical than theater seating too.

I also like this LVT. It looks very similar to the Hardwood Acacia that we put in our last home. It may be a little to cabin-y.

I like this LVT. According to comments it is "The floor was an Armstrong laminate plank floor (number L6581)" Hopefully it's not to dark for a basement. It goes well with the white trim which is what we intend on doing.

This particular accordion window has a very hidden track. Maybe a more custom situation where they dropped it in the counter top.

Basement bar window with garage door. This shows that maybe you can open the window two thirds and we probably have enough room before that beam. I like that you don't have a track or window jam and the weight of the window will create a tight seal. Hard to put any type of bug screen here.

Bar window, in the comments they do say that this is a 4x8 door. This property is in a warmer climate. I think it could be hard to get a good seal with this set up.

I like the size and the way this is dramatic when open. This does have a jam so the bar is not one continuous smooth surface.
