I like that the recessed area has the same dimensions as the TV -- the rectangular box seems to work well. Maybe better than a large / narrow look.

Don't like the looks of this as much as the others. Need to figure out what the differences are. This is white, all wood but looks too busy and like a mash up.

Looks alright. Non white wall color but similar so not a large contrast between wall color and built ins. Wood border around TV not dry wall makes for better look.
