We used a magnetic lock to release them and hold them shut with a punch button (up high, so kids can't reach them). We used brushed weather stripping and built a soffit on the inside to house the spring balance system. These doors operate manually but we did do another project with a remote opener using a gate opener motor that was side mounted - tricky. Thank you for your Inquiry.
