Reply to: You are going to run into trouble if you go with a white or off-white as they won't go with your other whites, and be difficult to keep clean. I would use the dark grey vein in your Caesarstone as a starting point to match with your new floor tiles. The same floor tiles could also be used as a laundry splashback. Reply to: Hi louisebzh, we were in a similar situation where we needed a strip to cover the join between our polished concrete and carpet. Long story but the concrete was cut too far that it extended past the door so when the door was closed you’d see a strip of carpet. I looked far and wide to find a strip that looked ok. Reply to: An exhaust fan will also do the trick. So if you already have a fan in your laundry you don’t need to vent the dryer. Or, as OK Louise said, get a condenser dryer. Or better still, get a heat pump dryer. They’re much more economical to run. $0.09 per kilo (for a 9* one) as opposed to $0.34 per kilo for a vented dryer (1.5*). And they don’t need venting either.
