Inspiration for a small contemporary shower room bathroom in London with a built-in shower, a wall mounted toilet, beige tiles, ceramic tiles, beige walls, ceramic flooring, a vessel sink, beige floors and a hinged door.

Dark metallic tiles were used in the family bathroom to add a bit of drama to the otherwise compact space. The floor tiles are the same but non slip. The LED lit niche is perfect to relax in the bath.

The pale grey and white scheme in this room gives a refreshing environment in what could have been a dark room, at the rear of the subterranean area of the property. The Duck Feet lamps with Dove Grey satin shades are sophisticated, yet playful and lend an amusing air to the room. The mirrored bedside cabinets and dressing table help to bounce light around the room, to increase the feeling of light and space.

Currently living overseas, the owners of this stunning Grade II Listed stone cottage in the heart of the North York Moors set me the brief of designing the interiors. Renovated to a very high standard by the previous owner and a totally blank canvas, the brief was to create contemporary warm and welcoming interiors in keeping with the building’s history. To be used as a holiday let in the short term, the interiors needed to be high quality and comfortable for guests whilst at the same time, fulfilling the requirements of my clients and their young family to live in upon their return to the UK.
