Contemporary bathroom in Strasbourg.

L’escalier qui mène à la suite a été entièrement refait. Philippe Demougeot s’est amusé à mélanger classique et moderne ; une partie des marches est en bois et l’autre, ainsi que la rampe, est en acier. La présence de l’acier apporte de la modernité au décor très classique du lieu, avec ses murs en pierre apparente, ses poutres en bois sombre et ses fenêtres à petits carreaux, quand le bois contribue à renforcer le côté chaleureux de la maison. Les occupants ont tenu à personnaliser cet escalier avec des trophées de chasse ramenés par le propriétaire, chasseur.

Staircase manufactured and installed to the exact specification as shown in the original drawings which were originally designed in 1897. The 180 degree staircase, manufactured from Douglas Fir, winds up onto a large half landing and features bespoke profile handrail, 55mm spindles and newel posts

Two-tone leather wrapped handrail done in an overlapping style, somewhat like a tennis racket or cricket bat. We used leather from Contemporary Leathers' (Instyle) Verona range. Metal handrail was fixed and pre-existing.

Modern staircase in Strasbourg.

We had the pleasure of doing up this boys bedroom. The clients wanted to move the bedroom on from a toddlers bedroom to a more grown up space. We went for a grey and bright blue colour scheme to compliment the gorgeous fabric we used for the blinds. Plenty of storage was added and a huge headphones mural on the wall to compliment the bedding.
