The little details come together in this skinny shaker kitchen, painted in popular Little Greene Pleat to create a stylish and inviting space where everything is to hand. The large kitchen island helps to perfectly zone the areas and allows for bar stool seating and additional storage as well as housing the ovens and hob.

A stylish and contemporary rear and side return kitchen extension in East Dulwich. Modern monochrome handle less kitchen furniture has been combined with warm slated wood veneer panelling, a blush pink back painted full height splashback and stone work surfaces from Caesarstone (Cloudburst Concrete). This design cleverly conceals the door through to the utility room and downstairs cloakroom and features bespoke larder storage, a breakfast bar unit and alcove seating.

Retreat Design was engaged by the owners of one of only two certified passive homes in WA, Abbett Haus, to design and manufacture the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry for their beach side abode. The client brief was to provide a quality and timeless kitchen design that would meet the sustainable ethos of the Abbett Haus building. White cabinetry was used to stay in keeping with the mid century modern feel of the house which ensured the natural stone flooring remained the hero of the open plan living and dining area. Our client had recently purchased a classic Victorian home with an orangery. Previously the kitchen was only in the original part of their home, but they wanted to make more of the space and change the original U shaped kitchen to an L shape with an island. The choices picked were from Rotpunkt in a range called Tempo (shaker style door) which were painted in a bespoke shade of green. The island is from Bauformat in a range called Singapur in Brass. The handles were bespoke and sourced through other suppliers and the quartz worktops are in Silestone Eternal Noir (suede finish). The result is a completely unique and modern look which is beautiful, classic and modern all at the same time with plenty of clever storage.

This stunning Coastal Inspired Kitchen is located in a Garden House at the rear of a large victorian in Newcastle County Down. The homeowners built the property for when their children return home from the Mainland Uk during the holidays, and other visiting friends and family. The stunning two story lodge has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge with wood burning stove, a utility room, and dining area off this kitchen. Only the best materials and finishes were used in the kitchen including Quartz, Painted Wood, American Oak and Nickel. The custom palette has a subtle but rich coastal look, in smooth painted Cadet Blue & Porcelain. The compact kitchen still manages to house a fridge freezer, larder, pullout bins, dishwasher and other pullout storage systems. There's even a compact mobile island that will double as a drinks trolley for sunny summer barbeques. Visually the space looks larger with clever tricks such as a white induction hob, integrated cooker hood, undermount quartz sink, bench seating and even a 4in1 boiling water tap, alleviating the need for a kettle, or water filter jug. The overall space is both timeless and elegant.
