We worked to create a base of warm neutrals for the hard surfaces in the home - dark joinery, earthy exterior paint colours, smoked oak floors, milky white walls and ceilings. We then added layers of colour and texture, anchored with accents of black. Richly-toned fabrics in weaves, velvet, wools and jacquard, combined with blackened timber, aged oak and steel. Contemporary sleek styles sit alongside traditional designs - creating a home with a distinctive character, that’s comfortable in its rural setting, yet has a definite stylish edge - and very much reflective of our clients’ fun, warm and creative personalities.

This stunning handcrafted provenance by piqu kitchen brings together a beautiful mix of colours, materials, and textures to create a warm and contemporary open plan living space. The decorative panels on the curved feature island have been painted in Hopper Head from Farrow & Ball and the other oak units have been left in their natural state and simply stained. Blue Fusion quartzite work surfaces and a full height splashback along with the reeded glass doors, a pantry unit and beautiful bar area complete this very bespoke and luxurious kitchen.

Le projet a consisté en la restructuration et la décoration intérieure d’un appartement situé dans un immeuble de faubourg du quartier Clichy-Batignolles, dans le 17e arrondissement de Paris. L’appartement, resté dans sa configuration originale, ne correspondait plus aux modes de vie actuels : séjour étriqué et non fonctionnel, cuisine séparée, salle d’eau exiguë, absence de rangements. La suppression d’une chambre a permis de redonner à la pièce à vivre un volume confortable et d’en maximiser l’apport lumineux. Les espaces servants ont été redéfinis autour du noyau central. Les rangements ont été rationalisés par la création d’aménagements sur mesure. La cuisine, qui a pris place dans le séjour, est traité comme une bibliothèque. Conçue intégralement en medium teinté dans la masse, elle s’intègre ainsi complètement dans le volume de la pièce. La décoration, sobre, vient jouer avec les traces de l’histoire de l’appartement : le poêle prussien a été décapé pour retrouver ses émaux d’origine, le parquet et les moulures ont été restaurés
