House Renovation to existing beach Cottage A Post war cottage / house location in Lota/Manly was becoming too small for a family of 4 and needed to be extended to accommodate 2 new bedrooms but also opened up to give the house a sense of openness and create additional living areas for the family to enjoy and to be connected to the outdoors. By creating high level ceilings in the bedrooms we added much needed space as well as height and light to the rooms with high level louvres. Mezzanine beds were also built in the high level space to create more room for the kids. The use of high level ply ceilings creates warmth to the room . All of the rooms in the front of the house were removed to create open living which meant the house felt a-lot bigger and the new kitchen became the heart of the house which is the main focus from all of the rooms. The new renovation included a new bathroom, kitchen, new spotted timber flooring and a new footprint making the house 70sqm larger.

Inspiration for a small world-inspired l-shaped open plan kitchen in Sydney with dark wood cabinets, stainless steel worktops, grey splashback, ceramic splashback, dark hardwood flooring and an island.

Mareva a imaginé un intérieur modulable, comme en témoigne la banquette convertible en couchage. Le bureau cosy pourra ainsi se transformer en chambre d’ami en cas de besoin. Dans sa configuration assise, elle se distingue par une accumulation de coussins dans des coloris lin, terracotta et vert. On retrouve le vert dans les rideaux, ces derniers faisant écho au papier peint pour dynamiser la déco. Un bouquet de plumeaux, chardons et autres végétaux séchés rappelle le rotin de la suspension lumineuse et des chaises. Posée sur le bureau, la plante parachève avec élégance la métamorphose des lieux.

Dans cette chambre, j'ai transformé un espace oppressant et encombré en un havre de paix optimisé et apaisant. Ma cliente se sentant en déperdition d'énergie et opprimée par ses vieux meubles, avait besoin de créer un dressing confortable tout en gagnant de la place. J'ai opté pour une optimisation maximale grâce à des solutions de rangement astucieuses : un dressing ouvert avec étagères, penderie, et boîtes de rangement multifonctionnelles. L'approche minimaliste et ergonomique a permis de libérer de l'espace, rendant la chambre plus lumineuse et fonctionnelle. L’organisation a été repensée pour que chaque vêtement et accessoire soit accessible et bien ordonné, contribuant ainsi à un environnement plus serein et énergisant. En supprimant les meubles encombrants, j'ai non seulement gagné de la place, mais aussi créé un espace pour se ressourcer et retrouver sa vitalité.
