We engaged Alex at the I Love Colours Design Studio, to help us with the design of two new bathroom spaces for our Georgian townhouse in Bath—and we’re so glad we did. After a visit to the house to get a feel for our personal tastes in interior design, and to talk through our initial ideas on the style of the new rooms, she produced two fantastic proposals for the bathrooms, with visuals, layout drawings and sample boards. She then worked closely with us as the building progressed, accommodating the inevitable changes that such projects always present, and giving sage advice on general layout and design. It was a pleasure to work with Alex on this project—as well as having a great professional eye for design, she is incredibly personable and always makes sure the clients’ own tastes are incorporated into the finished scheme. We’re now the proud owners of two new bathrooms with stunning interiors, and we look forward to working with the I Love Colours Design Studio again in the future.

I Love Colours was invaluable in our renovation project. Alexandra not only magnificently conceived our interior, she was also incredibly reliable in finding and delivering the objects chosen, some of which she herself drew and had produced by expert artisans. Scope of work: interior design for a 300sqm flat, including support in purchase of furniture and accessories. Great ideas, but also great empathy with owners. Incorporated ideas of owners creatively into the concept. Went the extra mile to understand the lifestyle of those inhabiting the flat and adjsuted the concept accordingly. Very good balance between esthetics and functionality for the items chosen. Also, the 3rd parties she recommmended for various works were up for scratch. Demonstrated resilience, flexibility in accommodating budget and special needs. Always positive and enjoyable to work/interact with. Already recommended for other projects.

It was a pleasure to work with "I Love Colours Studio" and I strongly recommend them to anyone!. Besides the great creativity (that you might take for granted from a designer) I was really impressed by 3 abilities: 1: CARE. Alexandra knows how to listen and she is able to co-create the brief. Although your own house design is such a personal matter, it is not easy to verbalize or be coherent in what you want to achieve. I appreciated Alexandra on how she managed to listen beyond words. 2: FLEXIBILITY / GENEROSITY. It is not easy for an artist to receive feedback on his work. In the same time, being the owner of your house you want it to breathe your personality; Alexandra managed to implement a project managing our suggestions in such way that did not compromised the creative output but added to it making us feel part of the creative process and showing us fantastic solutions. 3: RESOURCEFULNESS. I felt very comfortable to realize that Alexandra can manage resources (time, budget) besides the creative process; she understood our limitations and prioritized key elements that sustained the project therefore not compromising on the overall look & feel. Alexandra is an interior design tour de force. I hired her company in 2011 to the interior design top-to-bottom for a new apartment in a luxury complex. The outcome was excellent -- great taste and also she was budget-conscious. She was hands-on, including purchasing materials and coordinating all workers. I am grateful to her and recommend her unconditionally to anyone.
