I offer a comprehensive design service in Wimbledon, south-west London and Surrey, including Raynes Park, Wandsworth, Richmond, Clapham, Putney New Malden, Teddington, Hampton, Twickenham as well as Cobham, Weybridge, Woking, Epsom and Molesley I listen carefully to your requirements and deliver projects which often exceed expectations in ways you never imagined. We call it the Garden of Eden! Now, three years on from the initial completion of our project, the garden has filled out, and gives us so much pleasure. Right from when we first met Jane, we liked her authenticity, her love of plants, her straightforwardness. She made me a perfect kitchen garden, as well as completely redoing the main part of the garden. It has been transformed from an impossible overgrown mess, to a lovely plant-filled, sunny space that works well for our family. Of course, two year's later, Jane was back to deal with the front garden, now also looking wonderful. Thank you Jane

Jane came recommended and from the outset asked excellent questions to really hone down the spec for my front and back garden in London. She provided a mood board, a landscaping plan, technical drawings, plant colours and of course the proposed plants. All these stages provided me with trust in her skills. Jane continued to come round after the planting to ensure that the young plants were okay and that I had watered them enough. For me it has been an exciting learning curve, and I am now much more in the garden, either gardening or enjoying it with others. Now, from time to time, Jane comes round and we review what needs to be moved, cut back and added, all to ensure the garden continues to thrive. It has been a very worthwhile project and the results give me great pleasure.

We gave Jane a difficult task with our tiny garden as we wanted to pack so much in to such a small space. Jane offered fresh, innovative ideas and provided much more than we could have imagined. What was different to so many other designers was that Jane worked within our budget and advised where we could cut costs and where to spend more. Jane also recommended the landscaper who truly brought the garden design to life and was meticulous, they were the perfect team. We absolutely love our garden, it's become the star of our home and the first thing visitors comment on when they walk through the door.

Durrington Park Road

Nothing less than astounding. As some flowers wither, others come into bloom, creating a beautifully slow moving firework in our garden. We expected a professional result but this is far beyond that, this is sublime.

We employed Jane to design our garden and she did a great job. I had strong ideas of what I wanted and she helped me incorporate these ideas and bring the vision into reality. We like to entertain, so various elements were added to make this a garden designed for parties. It has worked well and we get lots of compliments for it. Jane was good at collaborating and making sensible suggestions and I feel we worked well as a team. The contractors she chose also did a good job in implementing it.

We have been working with Jane since Summer 2017 when we commissioned her to replan our beds and borders. She completely cleared these areas and replanted in October 2017. Surviving the winter and very hot/dry summer our garden now looks glorious. We are really enjoying see the different plants as lovely surprises popping up and flowering. Now Jane is maintaining so we don't ruin her great work as well as putting in bulbs ... I look forward to seeing that surprise in the Spring. Oh yes and Jane has always been reliable, friendly and professional.

Jane provided an excellent overall design and planting design when we decided to get rid of our swimming pool which took up over half the garden. We now have a wonderful space that works really well. Jane listens to her clients and paid particular attention to the fact that we wanted bees and butterflies to be visiting our garden for as much time as possible.

We hired Jane to design a planting plan, then source and plant in our newly built garden. She also gave us really sound advice on the hard scape plan, which we had designed ourselves. She was a pleasure to work - very practical, down to earth, and thoughtful about what would work for us. And the planting scheme is beautiful!

We hired Jane to redesign our back garden to better reflect our needs as the children grew older. We wanted a complete revamp and for it to look more grown up, whilst still allowing the children to use it for their needs. Jane spent time listening to our requirements and visiting the garden to make sure she got the design right. She researched some of the ideas we had that were new to her and incorporated them where possible. She helped in finding a contractor to do the actual landscaping work required, then completed the planting scheme herself. She was on hand throughout the landscaping work to answer any questions and advise on revisions to the plan if required. She then came back a couple of times after the transformation was complete, to check on the progress of the new plants and resolve any final loose ends. Throughout the process Jane was professional, approachable and friendly. She was readily available to respond to our questions and never hesitated to visit the garden if we felt that was needed. Her plans reflected our ideas for the garden and her attention to detail in the design specification ensured that the finished product was exactly as envisaged and on budget. In fact, our new garden probably exceeded our expectations! We would have no hesitation in recommending Arthur Road Landscapes.

Commented: Patio ideas pleaseI don't know of any that are made of cement. They are usually natural stone or porcelain. if you are using long ones you'll need to check that they are not bowed.
