Full of good ideas. Hit the deadlines promised. Friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended. Project was a 9 x 4m single story extension of a 1980s house. He helped create a light and welcoming kitchen / diner that made the most of the space available.

Daniel completely transformed the 1960s 'box' of a house we bought to do up, with a 2 storey side extension, by remodelling the staircase/hall layout and adding an amazing new window over the stairs. He was a complete delight to work with from start to finish and also worked very closely with our builder (a vital skill especially when the building threw up some unexpected challenges to tackle). He handled all the planning application and processes and was great at responding to any questions and changes of mind which we had. One of his great strengths was to understand our vision, to add to it and enhance it, present us with various alternative layouts and to respond with alternatives if we wanted something different. He was also as keen as us to incorporate as many eco friendly aspects as possible. If we ever do another project, we wouldn't hesitate to go back to him.

Daniel took on my project 3 years ago I think his advise design skill exceeded my expectation and I love my new home. We had a traditional double fronted Malvern stone house which we loved, but wanted the complete opposite for the extension. Having spent 20 years in Australia we loved the open plan design and living space. We took the whole back off the house and created a fantastic space. From the moment you stand at the front door you are drawn through and excited to find out what's going on at the back. The loft space was transformed into a bedroom with an en suite bathroom again maximising the area and ensuring it blends in with the original house features.

I'm a planning consultant and have recently worked with Daniel to assist the new purchasers of a site in Cheltenham which already had planning permission for a new dwelling. Our mutual clients had already engaged Daniel as they'd worked very successfully on another new dwelling project in Cheltenham and were impressed. Our site was very sensitive from a heritage perspective having been within the curtilage of a listed building, opposite other listed buildings and within a conservation area. It was also heavily treed and on a main thoroughfare. Daniel quickly identified all the site constraints and we worked well together with the clients to secure planning permission swiftly for their new dream home. I'm enjoying seeing the high spec contemporary dwelling now taking shape on site and I'm confident it'll be a fabulous addition to the streetscape. I'm looking forward to working with Daniel again and will be recommending him to clients.

We have worked with Daniel before, and commissioned him for the complete design and implementation of our new home - a 280m2 single storey contemporary house in the middle of Cheltenham. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a pleasure to work with and one of those rare breeds of architect who not only loves designing homes, but also thrives on building them too. He is seeing us through the complete project, and you always feel he is completely on top of any issue as it arises. He is proactive, always looking to find solutions to problems as they arise, he's approachable, always there when you need him and meticulously detailed. He has taken us through the whole process from early concept, into planning (which was quite tricky given our location and planning restrictions, and then on through the whole project management and implementation alongside external engineering and timber frame constructors, with whom he has had total responsibility through the process. This has been an innovative build, the entire house is built on ground screws since we are in amongst trees, Daniel has handled all of this and has been a massive support throughout. We could not have done this without him.
