We worked with Juliet from Decorbuddi to redecorate our home office. I said "Make it look like The Proper Hotel in Santa Monica" and from that very thin brief, magic happened! Juliet was great to work with from start to finish - really beautiful taste, great, creative ideas for bespoke joinery and lighting, excellent choices of fabrics and textures, and excellent organisation. One of the main benefits of working with them on a project is that they organise all the suppliers and contractors who all delivered to schedule and were excellent. Honestly, it was as good an experience as I could have hoped for and now I just wish I had a bigger house with more rooms to redecorate!

We had an 5+ start experience working with Anita on the redesign of our loft conversion, including our master bedroom and en-suite. From our very first meeting, Anita took the time to understand how we wanted to use the space and came up with ideas we would never have thought of ourselves. Her eye for design, attention to detail, and ability to combine style with practicality completely transformed the loft into a beautiful, relaxing, and functional space. I worked with Lorraine Sakharet on our new home project over a 3 month period. It was a complete renovation of a three bedroom bungalow in Walton-on-Thames. As I was heavily pregnant at the time, the project had to be fast tracked and run at quite an agile pace. Lorraine helped ensure I could still give the right level of attention to the important design decisions, particularly the details that would have been difficult or costly to reverse later and could easily have slipped through the cracks given the speed of the project. The best thing about working with Lorraine is that she is a fantastic listener. She really takes the time to understand your ideas and then helps refine and adapt them so that your expectations align with the desired outcome. We had a fantastic experience working with Decorbuddi during the full renovation of our home. We initially brought them in for some ad hoc interior design support and were matched with Juliet, who works locally to us. From the very start, Juliet was incredibly friendly, positive, and easy to work with. She took the time to really understand our personalities, preferences, and style. Once we were aligned, her advice was clear, straight to the point, and exactly what we needed. She made what could have been an overwhelming process feel smooth and enjoyable. Laura Finn has been wonderful to work with, full of enthusiasm, energy, patience and has a great eye for detail. We sought Laura’s assistance with the renovation of our lounge/dining room/kitchen area including purchasing furniture. We had just moved in and wanted to transform our room and add some character and colour. Laura gave us lots of ideas on how to best make use of the space and to incorporate our ideas. We’re happy we were also able to save money by getting our kitchen worktops and doors vinyl wrapped and changing the handles- both saving money and giving it a completely fresh new look! We are so happy with the overall look and it’s become our most used and favourite area in the house. During the process, Laura helped us become more confident to step outside of our comfort zone and make bolder decisions regarding colour. She’s wonderfully easy to work with, very responsive and fantastic at sourcing furniture including sofa, chairs, lighting and curtains. Decorbuddi were also very good at chasing and keeping us updated with delivery times of furniture. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Laura again for our next design project.

Working with Decorbuddi gave us the nudge we needed to complete a kitchen renovation. We are really happy with the outcome - the kitchen looks refreshed and is now a lovely place to spend time in.

We worked with Juliet from Decorbuddi on creating more storage in our 3 bedroom flat by adding some custom joinery and repurposing our office into a children's room for our daughter. Juliet did a great job, I really feel like she went above and beyond. We did change our minds several times, Juliet was very accommodating and understanding. She was always available for questions and suggestions. We are very happy with the end result and the quality of the joinery.

I just recently moved into a new home. It is a fairly new build however I would like to update (further) the 2.5 bathrooms ( EnSuite; Guest Bath and Cloak/WC). I have contracted Decorbuddi to help me bring to life my vision. I have worked with them sharing my inspiration for each design. Working on a budget, Decorbuddi was able to work accordingly and helped work with the tradesperson to ensure everything is in place, specifically the sourcing and the design coming together. There are compromises however, I am pleased with the results and would potentially work with them on a bigger project!

We selected Decorbuddi on Houzz after researching various companies and started with an initial consultation back in 2022 before we moved home. We met Laura who was very professional and understanding of our situation and requirements. We were moving to a new build so things were delayed but Laura stayed in touch and kept checking in until we finally moved in Jan 2024. Laura has been instrumental in helping us plan and execute everything from day 1. We had many ideas but were not organized and were in a rush but Laura helped us prioritize rooms, take things step by step to ensure everything fit in harmoniously. Our house being a new build came with limitations on what we could add or build on top of it, Laura really helped in choosing the right furniture in the right spaces. She chose designs and furniture that was space and storage efficient. What we really like is the flexibility to chose different levels of interior design support. We used Laura for the end-to-end design for the ground floor and high-level design for other floors. We could supplement this with additional time to help us with specific queries and issues for example color themes for our office rooms and placement of furniture. Laura has an incredible eye for detail and understood our tastes to recommend great options for us to select. She also gave us great perspective and advice when we were inclined to select something which looked good individually but would have not worked with the overall theme. We also like the option of using Decorbuddi’s trade accounts while buying furniture. This not only helps with discounts but when there were delays in our sofa delivery from the manufacturer, Decorbuddi helped organise a temporary new sofa from them while we waited for delivery. They were also very good in helping organize returns for some items which did not work out as planned and sorted out replacements. Laura has been incredibly patient throughout this journey and she often helped in our decision-making process as sometimes we struggled in making the right choice. We have enjoyed working with Laura. We strongly recommend hiring Laura and Decorbuddi to help you realise your dream house.

It's taken a while for this review as we've been on holiday, but wow , what can we say. Laura came and visited us and from our first meeting through to the completed project she was polite, professional and very helpful. She had some lovely ideas and helped us make choices from the extensive array of materials, catalogues and mood boards which she had brought along. This is the second time we have worked with Jackie from Decorbuddi. It was easy to get started on the project knowing the work she had done for us in our last house and the style we like. Working with a designer pushed us out of our comfort zone to try new things which we liked but would not have had the courage to do! Jackie also introduced me to brands which are new whilst taking into account the budget of the project. She co-ordinated trades for us and saved us a lot of time going down rabbit holes online. I purchased an old flat and asked Juliet from Decorbuddi to help me redesign the entire interior. She was incredibly professional and picked the best contractors for this project. Now the interior of the flat is beautiful and I am living very comfortably. It was also convenient because she was an excellent project manager and I barely had to do any work in coordinating.

I’m so glad we went with Decorbuddi and Jo!With a toddler, two busy jobs and not being creative types ourselves, we didn’t have the time, energy or vision to complete our living room. Jo was fantastic - she took the time to understand our initial ideas and style preferences, considered what would work for our living room, gave us several mood boards to choose from, then worked with us to select individual items of furniture and soft furnishings, building it up step by step. Her experience, as well as her honesty about what colours and textures would go well together, gave us the much-needed confidence to make decisions, and to pick items we might otherwise have overlooked. She got an idea of our budget early on and pointed out where we could make savings (eg don’t buy a new sofa as we had assumed we would need to, and spend the money on shutters instead - I love them!). We were also so relieved not to have to do the shopping ourselves (even online) - we wouldn’t know where to start and don’t have the time or inclination! Jo made it very easy and we absolutely love the end result. 100% recommend.

She assisted me with planning an entire house renovation - focusing on colour schemes, design ideas (both practical and aesthetic). As someone who works full time, manages 3 busy kids and has zero tolerance or brainpower for interiors I could not have done this without her help, support and wise counsel. Decorbuddi’s ‘Get Started’ service was exactly what we needed. Having recently moved into our home, we were struggling to determine layout, potential built-ins and a general plan for our main living/dining space. We were working with a slightly odd configuration and some hangovers from the old owners that were tough to figure out how to deal with. We asked Laura, our ‘Decorbuddi’, to focus on layout and suggestions for the design for built-in shelving, plus where to locate and integrate a wood burner. We asked her to work with existing floors, furnishings and curtains. What she came back with was great - her two hours were extremely thorough - aided by an in-depth initial assessment process which helped her prepare. She also came back with some design options which we would not have thought of but I think will compliment our space and age well. She made such good use of our two hours, that I wish I had prepped even a bit more to get more insights from her! It was great to work with an interior designer who offered this kind of limited one-off service - it was exactly what we wanted.

If there was a 5+ star, I would choose it! My flat was an ex-council flat and I was so overwhelmed by the amount of work I had to do after the previous tenants moved out. My goal was to renovate the whole flat and move in then move out in a year and rent it out again. I did not have any experience in renovating or design or even project managing the renovation. So, last September I found Decorbuddi. Also, I just started to move home from Edinburgh to London and moving home took me 2 - 3 months to finish because I used to live in a house and there were so many things to sort out! I was so grateful that they found me an amazing interior designer, Jenny Wood. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during our first meeting. I decided to let her to project manage the renovation while I could take care of moving home in the meanwhile. in October, I saw 3 builders. Then I chose the one suggested by Jenny and the builder started the work in November. At that time, we were planning to redo the kitchen so the project was expected to be finished in mid-January. Unfortunately, I had to move out of the temporary address due to serious family issue and we were under A LOT of time pressure because I had to move in before 1/12/23. I almost gave up on redoing the flat and I was that close to say "Let's just paint the walls and I'd be happy". I told Jenny about what happened and she said that she would help me to move in before 1/12/23. Then luckily the deadline was changed to before Christmas. There were so many things to keep track of and Jenny helped me to list all of them and tackle one by one. She was so patient and quick to arrange things, and produce mood board of each room for me. Every decision was quick to be made. After I moved home, I had things stored in two units with Anyvan Storage (the furniture removal company which I used), one unit was for short term storage unit and another unit was for long term storage. During the last week of renovation, Anyvan storage screwed up and sent all the things to the flat, I was really panicking because the flat was so small! Jenny was there not only to stop the Anyvan storage people from leaving but also to calm me down so I could talk to them with calm. She taught me to sort the problems out one by one and not to see them as a whole thing. We also had to ask the council for the permission to alter the flat and Jenny has also been so helpful to write down the replies for me to respond to the emails from the council. It is still going on now. Now I have asked Jenny to project manage the renovation of the kitchen and we will have to go through everything again, including applying for the permission to alter etc. I have no doubt that Jenny will do a great job. This year I will be looking to buy a new house and I would consider using Decorbuddi again to renovate it. I cannot express how thankful I am for everything which Jenny and her builder Antoni did for me through tough time. Words are not even enough.

We first met Sophie Wells through Decorbuddi, whilst renovating our new home and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She took time to listen and really understand the aesthetic we were after and came back to us with exactly the style we were after. We interviewed several designers as part of our move to a new home for our family of four. We are not design savvy and we wanted a house that was practical, comfortable and felt put together rather than cobbled together. I can say without exaggeration that I'm not sure what we would have done without Laura at Decorbuddi. We were moving internationally and Laura basically project-managed our new home, from ordering and arranging delivery to making sure the right pieces ended up in the right places in the right room. She even worked with our handyman to get things assembled and make sure the light fixtures were in the right spot. And it feels like the house is a reflection of us. Laura at Decorbuddi has been completely invaluable. As a first time buyer, having purchased a slightly dated 90s new build flat I was overwhelmed by the amount of work that needed to be done. Laura provided design and project advice and helped me throughout every stage of the process. She was extremely responsive and quickly learned my design aesthetic. I have complete trust in Laura and the advice that she was giving me - she even got me out of my comfort zone with the introduction of patterns!! When tenants wrecked our London flat, we were heartbroken. We live 200 miles away so overseeing a renovation and redecoration from such a distance - and with a limited budget - was going to prove incredibly stressful. Thank goodness for Jenny Wood at Decorbuddi. She listened to our requirements carefully and gave us very wise and realistic advice about what could - and couldn't - be achieved with the time and money available. She recommended fantastic businesses who could help, suggested brilliant ideas to freshen up the decor and make the flat more appealing to tenants, obtained quotes and liaised with trades during the work, involving me in every decision from the design of the kitchen to the finish of the new door furniture. I am so pleased with the end result. That flat has gone from drab, dark and tired-looking to light, spacious and attractive. The fact that tenants snapped it up at the very first viewing before we'd even had time to put it back on the market is testament to her hard work. I'm not exaggerating when I say I couldn't have done it without her. She has saved me months of time, thousands of pounds and no doubt a nervous breakdown (!). My husband and I have very different tastes in décor and neither of us are very creative - to the extent that we had lived in our house for near on 10 years without putting a picture up and have lived with a mismatch of quality but mismatched furniture. I went to Decorbuddi as I didn't know where to start, it allowed me to buy the additional relevant decorating service as our needs become more obvious. David came in and partnered with us to understand what we liked and what we were both looking to achieve. We started small but as our confidence grew as David showed us what we could achieve, we quickly progressed. David worked with us to completely change our living areas and the feel of our house - from muted disconnected colours, to bold but elegant furnishings and fixtures that incorporate both of our tastes. He has worked with the furniture we have and completely changed the colours of much of it; whilst custom designing other pieces and finding the craftsmen and companies that were able to build or make what we wanted. David has been a fantastic partner and very patient. He's always listened to what we've said without pushing us - but at the same time taken us out of our comfort zone and worked with us to give our home a whole new look which we love, but know we would never have got to on our own. We love it and our friends love it too! None of this would have happened without David partnership, patience, encouragement, skill and insight - thank you!

We would absolutely recommend Decorbuddi! Our experience with Alex far exceeded our expectations and we had consulted other designers and design services. We tend to be busy, unfocused, particular and indecisive. Alex helped streamline our thoughts and ideas. She provided samples, examples, mood boards and exposure to so many resources and companies we were unaware of and unlocked the world of London design. She truly helped turn our tiny flat into a lovely home on our rather conservative budget. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Laura is amazing, she designed our orangery layout in such a way that we couldn't imagine. She helped us in each and every stage of furniture purchase. The color combination she recommended was absolutely brilliant, they go so well with our orangery location and other furniture. I would definitely call her again for future projects.

I was at a bit of a loss as to how to arrange the living area and kitchen in our new house as it is an unusual shape, so turned to Laura for some guidance. Laura gave us lots of great ideas and helped us with the scope of work for our builders, as well as help selecting and ordering furniture and passing on discounts to us. We decided to seek the help of Decorbuddi when we moved into our new build house in Kent. It was a complete blank space where we needed to buy lots of new furniture and we didn’t know where to start. We were assigned the help of Laura who helped us with two rooms; bedroom and lounge. She talked to us about what we wanted and then put together a plan with layouts and a range of colour schemes, fabrics and ideas to start the process. We felt she very quickly found what our style was and tapped into the look that we wanted for both rooms. We are so happy with the outcome for both rooms and are really impressed with the personal service and the level of skill and knowledge we got from Laura. We now love spending time in the rooms that Decorbuddi has helped us with and regularly comment on how lovely they look and feel to be in. We would definitely recommend their service.

Our experience with Decorbuddi has far exceeded our expectations. We initially did a starter package, we had just moved into a new house and lacked inspiration on where to start. We were assigned Meredith Brodie and within an hour of being in our house, she had made three suggestions that were not obvious to us but we loved and executed immediately! From here we continued to work with Meredith room by room. She is incredibly talented and creative, her vision of how a room can come together was inspirational while always ensuring it met our needs, budget and likes. Without Meredith our home would have been a mix of greys and creams, its now a stand out property which gets the wow factor from all our guests. I took their Kick-start package and was assigned Laura Finn who responded very quickly and spent a few hours with me. She was wonderful at teasing out what sort of look and feel we were looking for, the scope of work etc, and then coming up with lots of advice and ideas. She followed this up with a written report and recommendation and useful websites as well as companies who could undertake the work - extremely helpful.

Jackie from Decorbuddi held my hand through our extension project -- making something that felt overwhelming feel fun and manageable. There are so many hundreds of details to sort with a renovation project, and Jackie's wealth of experience was invaluable. She was able to break decisions down for me into digestible chunks, so instead of feeling buried alive I enjoyed the process of expressing myself. I moved into my new house in January 2022 and it was such a blank space, I spent a few months just being paralysed by fear and overwhelmed as to where to start. I reached out to Decorbuddi and the angel that is Lorraine came to visit me for a starter package to review paint choices, lighting and layout for my living room / dining room and also colours in the kitchen. We clicked straight away and within just a few hours, she managed to break things down and draw out of me what I wanted from the space and what colours / styles I was drawn to. I was surprised at how I thought I was a bit more reserved but actually I am so pleased to have been questioned on that and she has drawn out a little bit of a bold side which I am so excited for. Our initial meeting was followed up by the most helpful, clear email of everything we talked about and a step by step guide for me to follow and some suggestions of styles of certain pieces of furniture. I came back to Lorraine for some further lighting advice and have found the most amazing light for my living room that I am absolutely in love with. I would whole heartedly recommend Lorraine and I have already recommended Decorbuddi to a number of friends. I'll be coming back for help on my garden soon!

Project: bathroom/kitchen Jess at Deccorbuddi helped me with my flat. I had no idea what I was doing essentially but wanted my small flat to be more functional and to take advantage of it being bright. Jess came up with great ideas with both bathroom layout and design and also simple ways to increase the size and functionality of my kitchen. She has been absolutely super not just designing , sourcing element for every single room but coordinating relevant suppliers and materials also designing a steam shower and tiling. I approached Decorbuddi for a home bar build and was delighted with the end result. From the beginning David listened carefully to my requirements and his suggestions were key elements of the final design. He helped turn a loose thematic idea into a realised bar. I worked with Jackie at Decorbuddi on my master (/mistress?!) bedroom and ensuite. She was an absolute delight to collaborate with - listening carefully to my ideas, but then building on them to push me gently out of my comfort zone, particularly on wallpaper and fabric. Jackie at Decorbuddi has been fantastic in helping my wife and me to redecorate our ground floor. My partner and I owned properties in the past but never used a design service before and we have to say we are extremely happy to have picked Décorbuddi to help up designing our 2 bedroom flat. David was extremely helpful and hard working all the way through. He helped us picking the colour scheme for the entire flat – we have always been used to simply painting everything white and a bit scared to change. During the first Lockdown my family decided that we needed to update the snug room (open plan with the kitchen) where we spend most of our family time. The Decorbuddi 'get started' package was the perfect way for me to gain lots of ideas for the room and the confidence that I needed to take ideas forward. Lorna masterminded the design of my shop in Watlington, Oxfordshire. It was my first time ever taking on a project like this and I honestly don't know what I would have done without Lorna. She helped me through the whole process, giving so much more than just an amazing design concept for my shop. Sophie is an excellent interior designer. She works very hard to understand the motivations of the homeowner, not just in terms of what a home will look like from an aesthetic point of view but also the emotions that the homeowner wants to experience as part of the re-design. She pushes her clients to be more daring than they might otherwise and has an excellent ability to use colour for dramatic effect. Sophie has a deep understanding of colour and texture but also combines this with practical insight and skills into whether a project will work or not. I really enjoyed working with Sophie.

Lorraine has designed two beautiful bathrooms for us. As with many old houses the bathrooms were an afterthought and therefore small with little opportunity to extend. Lorraine, employing great design, has maximised the space and created a luxurious main bathroom and a functional yet beautiful ensuite shower room. Lorraine introduced us to skilled builders and craftsmen and sourced everything, often securing us a Decorbuddi discount. She has great attention to detail and was there to troubleshoot when inevitable snags hit the project, so making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Like many people, I know what I don’t like, but am rather vague about what I do and, although I have some lovely things, I don’t really know how to put it altogether. Lorraine worked collaboratively with me, so the design feels like my taste and I absolutely love the final result. I really enjoyed working with Lorraine. She has made me braver with colour and I am looking forward to working with her on other rooms that I have never got quite right, starting with our off white and rather boring bedroom in the New Year

My wife and I commissioned Decorbuddi to assist with the early stages of planning the finishes of our kitchen extension in Tooting. Jackie was able to come and visit us post lockdown 1.0 and spent a couple of hours taking copious notes from our brief and helping us to navigate the design process. I don't generally write reviews but felt compelled to write one for Decorbuddi and Ann as they did such a stellar job on my flat. I renovated my entire flat (after 20 years!). I had no idea 1) how to use the small space well and 2) how to design the interior. Ann was, in a word, amazing. In her words, she "stretched me" (necessarily) but beautifully transformed my flat. She offered suitable options for each room in terms of furnishings and ideas for the design, was budget conscious, would pick out appropriate furniture and take care of the paperwork (and even be at the flat for the delivery if necessary) which was enormously helpful when one has limited time. She worked well with the builder and noticed small things that I never would have caught and sorted it out. I would recommend Decorbuddi and Ann without reservation.

I cannot recommend decorbuddi highly enough and the Wonderful Amanda who has been an absolute inspiration I can't praise her enough, If you are lucky to have Amanda working with you you will be amazed and privileged as well as being totally down to earth and approachable, friendly and beyond helpful Amanda has an amazing ability to tune in very quickly to what you want and be there for you with brilliant suggestions always with your budget in mind. She has completely opened my eyes and I know with her guidance and advice I am already on the road to achieving something exceeding my expectations on how my home will look when the project is over and I honestly feel without Amanda I would never have got off the ground. Being someone who goes by the 'feel of a room or furniture' and totally hopeless on how to achieve what I wanted my refurb of my entire apartment to look like I think its fair to say I can't be the easiest client. But Amanda got it straight away and her appreciation within one meeting of both my apartment and its lovely features as well as encapsulating perfectly what I wanted after just one meeting turned things completely around using the get started package and as I continue to work with Amanda instead of being daunted I am filled with excitement and joy at the way things are going and am confident will go with her guiding hand to a perfect conclusion. I'm still using Amy on a number of different areas in my home and can't rate her highly enough. She offers her opinions without domineering, provides detailed notes of meetings, answers emails promptly and overall gets the job done faster and certainly cheaper than I would be able to doing it alone. I was looking for an interior designer to help guide me to decorate my newly built house. I couldn’t define my style as it’s quite eclectic, and I didn’t want an interior designer who would only advise using styles and colours they liked. I joined last Autumn and have loved attending the Create your Home and Furniture Paint workshops, weekly drop-in sessions and monthly evenings with an expert.
