So how was my experience? I should note that I love my worktop and paid a fair price. However that’s as generous as I can be. I picked my worktop and placed an order; It took 4 -5 phone calls to repeat the details before they eventually put my order through to the factory. I wanted to support my local shop so I battled on. Sadly it was a catalogue of errors. It took weeks to arrange delivery and fitting, and I missed various fitting dates because the product hadn’t been delivered to the shop. A miscommunication in the fitting has led to an issue which, almost five months later still isn’t resolved. And it’s incredibly frustrating to have spent hours on hold, listening to promises of customer service that simply aren’t met. I never receive phone calls back despite various promises. I’ve never given a 1* rating on any platform, however even that feels high for my recent experience with Marble City.

Huntsmore have worked with Marble City consistently for the last few years. Gavin and his team have an excellent range of quality stones to choose from. They are always flexible and their fitters are very knowledgable, installing the worktops with great care. Huntsmore would recommend Marble City to anyone wanting a high-end stone solution and we look forward to continuing to work with Gavin and his team again.
