James is very easy to work with. His patience with applying multiple rounds of updates to plans ensured the final design captured everything I was wanted to achieve. James is detail oriented and suggests useful solutions to address the inevitable challenges faced with a building project.

Absolute pleasure to work with James on a big renovation of our new home. He worked hard on getting through planning, was very knowledgeable and gave very helpful advice. Worked with our ideas and also of course brought his own design and creative ideas. The finishing result is a beautiful house with wonderful space. He has been very responsive and involved throughout. Even after his part of the work was technically complete, it has still very much felt like he’s on the team. And he’s just a pleasure to work with and communicate with. Definitely recommend!

James is hugely talented with a wonderful eye for design, real flair and deep expertise as an architect. He is also extremely pleasant to work with, as he is always responsive and adaptable in meeting the needs of his clients. We would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to bring their vision for their home to life and to give it a "wow factor".

Working with James has been an absolute pleasure on our home development project (largest to date!) in Elstree. He has taken on our requirements and developed them further to give us a very functional space whilst still being sensitive to our surrounding area. We have moved steadily from feasibility, planning, building regs and now construction. He's always there as a sounding board and helpful in supporting questions from the other contractors, with his mild but firm approach! I highly recommend him.

James was brilliant to work with. Very efficient and ontop of everything. He is very approachable and made the building process as easy as it could be. I highly recommend his services

I recently worked with James to secure planning permission and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. From the outset, he demonstrated a strong understanding of the planning process and provided clear, practical guidance at every stage. His attention to detail and ability to translate my ideas into well-thought-out, compliant designs made a significant difference. He was proactive in addressing potential concerns from the local planning authority, which ultimately helped streamline the approval process. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, the planning permission was approved smoothly and with minimal stress on my part. I would highly recommend James to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and reliable architect, particularly for navigating planning applications.

It was a real pleasure to be working with James throughout the initial process of getting plans together and applying to the council for planning permission. He was a real gentleman. Very professional. Extremely knowledgeable. Put together a very nice workflow that would logical and effective. Very open to ideas and always willing to look for solutions. Our extension design was a real challenge and we had already spoken to a few architects prior to James who were just not even interested in trying to consider anything apart from the conventional but James was full of enthusiasm. Highly highly recommended.

James helped navigate a very complex planning application for a glass extension to our Grade II listed house and the installation of a sustainable energy source. This included negotiating with the council planning and heritage officers to reach a design that was successfully signed off. James was professional and flexible throughout. Thank you so much!

James was a pleasure to work with on our loft renovation and created such a fabulous space for us. It’s flooded with light and works perfectly for our family. I can’t recommend James enough!

James meticulously designed, prepared and guided us through a loft and kitchen extension. In addition to the detailed drawings he provided, James skilfully navigated us through numerous surveys, applications, regulatory requirements and finally through to a tender process to select a building company. Our project would have been substantially more challenging without his involvement.

I recently had the pleasure of working with James on a renovation project for our property in North London, which included a wraparound extension, a loft conversion, and a complete internal redesign. From start to finish, James exceeded my expectations, demonstrating not only deep expertise in architecture but also a rare ability to blend creativity with functionality. Our house required intricate planning, particularly due to the local council planning constraints, budget considerations and the need to create a good size third bedroom on first floor. James took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and tailored the designs to match, incorporating both aesthetic appeal and practical solutions. The final designs were not only visually stunning but also seamlessly integrated with the existing space. Throughout the project, James maintained clear and open communication, was open to changes and very responsive, ensuring we were informed at every stage. He worked closely with other professionals (structural engineer, party wall surveyor etc.) to ensure that our project ran smoothly and within budget. Whenever issues arose, he was proactive in resolving them without compromising on the quality of work. We highly recommend James to anyone looking for an architect who combines creativity, technical expertise, and professionalism.

From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, his creativity and professionalism was excellent. He listened carefully to our ideas and needs, offering thoughtful suggestions that improved both the function and aesthetic of our home. Communication throughout the project was clear and consistent. James was responsive to our questions and proactive in addressing any challenges that came up. His coordination with contractors and other professionals ensured a smooth process from start to finish. We’re absolutely delighted with our home and would highly recommend James. Mojgan and Farhad Dizadji
