We have had a brilliant experience working with Martin on a very unique and very large glass cellar door. The service has been helpful, speedy and informative . The craftsmanship is excellent and the door has become a central conversation piece , it’s stunning!

I had an existing cellar space in an Edwardian house, more of a coal hole with trap door access, which I have converted into a usable wine cellar with paddle steps so I wanted to make a feature of the space with an automated glass door. Martin's team have done a good job with a retro fit to ceramic tiled floor. quality fitting by the installation team. the lead time on glass is quite long so advice i would give is order the glass early if you are on a project timeline. No hesitation in recommending Stone Cellars workmanship

An absolute nightmare to deal with. Terrible customer service - their VAT returns and personal problems (illness, stress, too busy) meant that communication was woeful. The end product was badly implemented - chips on stairs, lights fell off immediately, badly fitting. They spend all their time chasing payment for work not performed. I went for a better value than the most popular competitor and wish I had spent the extra money. Avoid

I spent many months deciding whether or not to have a wine cellar. There are two main companies providing this service and after talking to Martin I decided his was the company to use. What a fantastic result. The cellar is well manufactured looks really good and the glass trap door is a real feature. Perhaps more important when thinking about a cellar is the building, delivery and installation of the stonework and fittings. As we were building an extension as well the project had some delays but The Stone Cellar company worked round these installing the cast concrete first and returning twice to do further work working around our other contractors. Martins staff are very efficient, punctual and genuinely helpful chaps. I would recommend them and the company to anyone thinking of installing a cellar.

The owner of the company did a fantastic job bidding, and then keeping me informed during fabrication and when something went wrong in shipping he stepped up and air-shipped it to ensure that it arrived on-time for installation...
