The cellar is constructed as a retaining wall with waterproof concrete to the exterior and a tanking of the internal faces.

A block and beam floor is installed above and the opening left for the door to go into. The photo shows the tanking being applied.

Final cleaning of the installed racking and tiled floor. The racks on the lower level are smooth and 500mm deep to receive OWC 12 bottle cases end on - you can then read the magnificent labels. The racks above are in excess of 350mm deep to ensure safe storage of most bottles without protruding...

The limestone racking can be adapted to suit existing basements. We will be showcasing this cellar and other variants in the near future. The final transformation is always the addition of wine bottles.
