About Us

We are Our Homes Matter, a property design and build company. We offer comprehensive services for both your personal and commercial projects. Our passion is to develop homes in an entirely new way, adapting to your own, uniquely individual needs. If you can imagine it, we can do it. We specialise in design and project management, for those interested in full service. We endeavour to take hassle and stress out of the process. This is to enable you to go on holiday during a project instead of needing one after.

It was ok, though they were pretty hands off after the initial meeting. There were some unexpected conversations about inability to remove debris from the third floor to the first floor given insurance considerations. Would have appreciated slightly more empathy when communicating rules which did not make sense (though were contractually required given OHM insurance), it was quite stern which didn't land well in the moment when things were quite stressful overall. Otherwise, I am happy with the kitchen but OHM seemed very removed from the process at times as project manager.

Had my IKEA kitchen installed by the team and was very happy with the experience. Communication beforehand was great, the installer arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and the kitchen was installed within two days to a high standard. Michelle

Our installer was excellent-we were very impressed with the speed and quality of the work (and surprised it was done by just one person). He requested input where needed, made some tweaks we requested and delivered a first class end result. Loses one star for the somewhat bizarre call pre installation where we were pressured to change our design-we resisted and were correct.

Really lovely work (cabinet fittings in kitchen) and very speedy (needed someone the same week!). We gave some feedback about the cleaning of the space, and they were very helpful. Would recommend! Mathilda

I’m very pleased with the work OHM delivered to make me a lovely kitchen. Both the fitters and the specialist electrician and plumber were professional, took their jobs seriously, and sought the best solution. The contact with the office was pleasant, and Evelin was great, giving me the feeling that everything was organised and updating me on the budget. The arrival time was as I was told. Well done, team!

We heard about OUR HOMES MATTER through Plykea, we wanted to get new fronts for our kitchen. From the initial consultation right through to completion. communication was great and they kept us updated through the whole process, which we really appreciated. The builder/ carpenter Jackup who carried out the work was amazing - very skilled, hardworking, and completed the job quickly while maintaining a very high standard. We're extremely happy with the final result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable building company.
