About Us

Since starting Perfect Space Carpentry in 2010, my aim has been to make smart great quality furniture. Coming from a creative background, I'm really interested in clever design and spend time planning every detail. Each project is tailored to the requirements of the client, because there are so many possibilities and ideas each commission is completely unique. Working from my workshop, my team and I make all kinds of bespoke furniture and joinery; including wardrobes, kitchens, storage solutions and one off furniture items. We develop your own style and ideas to create something you will be proud of and that will last for years. Because we care about our environment the workshop runs on energy from a green supplier. Our workshop is powered by Good Energy. All scrap timber is recycled and we only use recycled packaging. Our Process: 1. Site Visit The first stage is to come and have a chat. We love talking about furniture, so are always happy to discuss your ideas. Together we can form a rough idea of styles, materials and finishes that will work for you. We do not charge for this visit. From here we can work out some initial costs. 2. The Design Stage With all the ideas gathered the design stage is where we refine and perfect the details, we produce detailed scale drawings for your approval, we can also offer you full 3D CAD models to help you get an idea of the bigger picture. 3. The Build All our work is prepared, built and finished in our workshop ready for an efficient no fuss fitting on site. This extra preparation in our workshop means minimal disruption to your home. All our tools have dust extraction fitted so when making small adjustments there is nothing to clean up.

Cady made a large chest of drawers to store all our clothes. We wanted it to be really wide and to fit into a specific space. We are really happy with the result, it looks great, the drawers open and shut very smoothly, and communication with Cady was very pleasant.

Cady did a modern kitchen refit, a banquette seating and table, and some "under the stairs" drawers for us. We are beyond happy with the finished product. Our experience was smooth and positive from beginning to completion and everything is exactly as we envisioned. Super easy and fun to work with, Cady was always ready with creative design ideas when we hit any hurdles regarding space and fit. And during the installation process, him and his team always left our space clean tidy. Would definitely work with them again.

Cady built us a garden table with benches that store neatly just how we asked. He was great to advise us on what sort of wood would be best for outside use and what dimensions would work well for our garden. Really nice finish and stained to our liking in his workshop. Very happy with the project.

Cady was absolutely brilliant when it came to making some furniture for my home hair salon. The space is small so the furniture needed to make the most of the space that is there. I had a good idea of what I wanted but Cady managed to take my ideas and produce something so much better than I’d anticipated. Install tool a couple of hours and even in the snow they carried on working. I’m so impressed with it but now unfortunately the rest of my house looks terrible by comparison. A small price to pay. Thanks again.

Perfect Space Carpentry did some fantastic work for us re-sizing, and repairing, a wardrobe. After moving to a new place we found that our lovely, Italian made, wardrobe was too tall for the ceiling height. We originally got someone else to shorten it but they made a complete mess of it. The holes were all in the wrong places and it didn't come close to fitting together again. Cady took the whole lot away to his workshop and was somehow able to resurrect. Now it fits perfectly in our new place. We're extremely happy with the work they did. We definitely plan to use them again and have already recommended them to one of our neighbours

We used Perfect Space Carpentry to build a bespoke fitted wardrobe for us. Cady drove over to Bristol from Bath twice at weekends to talk through options with us. We were offered a huge array of possible styles, layouts, materials, finishes, colours - anything was possible! The install went smoothly and the finished wardrobes are stunning. We are extremely happy and would definitely recommend them - we will certainly use them again ourselves!

Fantastic! Cady listened to our ideas, and consulted us fully throughout the design process, suggesting materials to fit within our price range. Our bed fits perfectly into the awkward space of a low alcove in our loft bedroom, and is complete with ample storage in pull out drawers underneath and innovative hidden shelves behind the headboard. All beautifully crafted. An all round brilliant service right through from bespoke design to friendly fitting.

We are absolutely over-the-moon with our living room alcove shelves that Cady created for us. Cady listened intently to our needs and concerns and has an impeccable eye for detail, measurements and design. He came up with multiple concepts and custom ideas (including a clever solution for our TV and hifi equipment) until we reached a mutual conclusion and delivered everything to our expectations. The shelves are of high quality in terms of material, construction and design.
