As a small but ambitious studio, based in East London, our process is collaborative and experimental, with a focus on searching out flexible, immersive, and holistic design solutions that are specific to the needs of our clients. The Space Shack vision is enormously focused on the relationship between people, spaces and the environment. LOW-KEY SOPHISTICATION Espousing a minimalist aesthetic, Space Shack’s interior design is underpinned by intelligent colour palettes with a combination of unassuming materials like wood, natural stone and textured glass with clean-cut lines, minimalist trimmings and impeccably designed, contemporary furnishings which imbue each space with a sense of low-key sophistication. Add in vibrant accents, metal detailing and sculptural accessories and each renovated residence is an example of how simple, discrete gestures can have a huge impact in imperfect spaces. Omar and his team were just brilliant, and the results really speak for themselves. From start to finish, the process was clear, organized and efficient. I very quickly got the feeling that they understood what I liked (and didn't like) and made really amazing suggestions that initially felt "outside of the box" but in the end are absolutely stunning and pull the spaces together so nicely. Really great communication - straightforward and honest. Beyond the beautiful results, what is really great is that the spaces work with our everyday lives -- it looks good and works in real life, not just on Instagram. Highly, highly recommend.

Working with Omar and the team was an absolute pleasure and they have transformed our apartment into the most amazing space! They were able to reconfigure the layout of our "cookie cutter" 2-bedroom apartment to maximise the space and make our home feel much bigger! Omar and the team were also able to bring together the (very) different design elements that both of us liked and create not just a coherent design but also a warm & inviting space to live in! They have a unique ability to bring to life your vision and help refine / tailor elements in ways that we hadn't thought possible. The process itself was seamless from the design phase up front, clearly managing the budget vs. design, and thereafter overseeing the project management of the work itself. During this second stage we were able to fully trust Omar & team to deliver the work and ensure everything was carried out to the highest standard. They kept us fully informed through every stage but also allowed us to still focus on day-to-day life, which made the overall process relatively stress free! Following the completion of the project, we have remained in close contact with Omar and he remains available for any design tips / choices! We would very strongly recommend Omar & the team, as they can help craft / refine a vision for your home and truly care about your space & the quality of work delivered!

We reached out to Space Shack as we were looking for someone to project manage and design the renovation of our house. We had ideas of how we wanted the house to look and feel, but no knowledge or experience in interior design. Omar and Luca did a fantastic job in understanding what we wanted (better than we did!) and bringing it to life. We love how the house now feels spacious, warm, and personal, and - just as we requested - not at all like a typical Victorian house. They brought on board high quality tradespeople with whom they had worked with before, and were able to get the project started early. When any issues arose along the way they would solve them efficiently, always putting our interests first. They sourced beautiful antique and modern furniture to fit our specifications and style, which fit in perfectly with pieces that we already had. Omar was always communicative and available - finding a great balance of keeping the project moving along as quickly as possible while giving us the space to make decisions we were happy with. He is experienced, friendly, and energetic, and we loved collaborating with him and Luca.

We contacted Spaceshack to renovate our basement. Omar patiently listened to what we wanted and delivered a timeless beautiful and functional space that we will enjoy for many years to come. He has an unparalleled eye for colour and ability to bring a whole room together perfectly in all aspects including decoration, furniture and styling. He suggested a trusted contractor that was able to do the works within budget and to a very high standard. Spaceshack’s project management also was ideal and no problem was too big or small. It's been a delight to work with Omar and his team. We would not hesitate to recommend Spaceshack.

Omar and his team completed the renovation of our coworking space located in Downtown Dubai. Omar has been a dedicated project manager, taking everything into consideration while working overseas. Whilst managing the project from overseas seamlessly, he flew out in the middle of the project just in time for the interior fit-out when the design was being fully realised. It was a smooth and enjoyable experience working with Omar and his team and we couldn't be happier with the result. Space Shack understood the style we wanted to achieve in this commercial space and managed to source the right suppliers to create our dream workspace. All of our staff and members love the space and the atmosphere that was created.

Omar and Luca have been a pleasure to work with in managing the renovation of my flat in Wapping. They were really helpful and patient with their suggestions and advice (some of my ideas were unfeasible!). The team of builders, electricians, plumbers and decorators they organised to undertake the work were completely reliable and all ran to time and there were no unexpected surprises with the budgeting. I would use them again and have already recommended them to friends of mine.

Omar and the Space Shack team did a great job with our flat renovation. They managed to take our (fairly vague and scrambled!) ideas and quickly turn them into a clear design brief and detailed drawings. They then oversaw every aspect of the building works - sourcing contractors and suppliers and making it all run seamlessly. We basically handed over the keys and got back a beautiful new flat! The whole process could not have been easier, and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. The end result is totally consistent with all of our original wishes, but with the unique flair that we had wanted a designer to bring to the project. The Space Shack team are also super friendly and unbelievably responsive - always willing to go the extra mile and to work around their client’s schedule. For us, that was invaluable.

Working with Omar & the Space Shack team was an absolute delight. It was the first time we enlisted a professional design service and the outcome really reflects on how important it is to choose the right design firm to deliver a project. As our project was a commercial space (a coworking space) it required a lot more creative thinking in order to maximise our capacity while still being able to create spaces where people want to spend more time and collaborate in. A very unique brief that Space Shack fulfilled. Having a project manager on board was also extremely useful as - a small business we felt they were an extension of our team and felt they were committed to the project with a real passion and gave attention to detail that even we may not have noticed. We will definitely use their services again and looking forward to building a long term relationship with them for our future projects. The Co-Dalston Team

We had such a fantastic experience working with Omar and the Space Shack team, and we are now loving every moment of being in our dream house! Omar not only has a brilliant eye for design, but also has a really fantastic collaborative approach that allowed us to also express our own personalities and creativity through the process. He also has an amazing network of artisans and craftsmen to create bespoke pieces that will match the exact needs of your space and your life (I love my record listing corner by the way!). Omar and his team are also great organisationally, helping us stay diligent with budget management, suggesting great practicals ideas to keep the project on budget, and also going the extra mile to help resolve issues that invariably pop up along the way. I couldn't recommend the Space Shack team more. We now have a beautiful house, that sparks joy every time we enter a room!

We were contracted by Spaceshack London to undertake a full renovation of an apartment in central London for their client. Omar and his team were a pleasure to work with and Omar cared for every little detail throughout the project. He was in constant communication and present on site to help our team with any queries. The refurbished apartment looks amazing and Spaceshack have designed the space perfectly. It was great to work with and on behalf of Spaceshack London and we look forward to working together on the next project!

Omar and his team have an incredible attention to detail, that is second to none. Since we started scoping the project in May of last year, the project scope and the designs evolved continuously, overcoming all difficulties that emerged. Given we lead extremely busy lives, we did not have abundance of spare time to dedicate to project management. Omar helped to arrange schedules, and viewings around our calendars. We were able to dictate firm boundaries of what we did not want in the project (specific colours, location of the washing machine, or minimum size of the shower), and what we wanted included (dining table, open-plan kitchen, and stand-alone bath). Omar, and the rest of his team were also flexible about making the designs that we wanted possible. We were adamant to have wall panelling for our master bedroom. Initial few quotes for bespoke wall projects came back at over £6k, which was far above our budget. After consultation, and research, Omar and his team were able to break down the pieces into individual items, which were then sourced at less than 1/3 of the price. The items were put together, and achieved the same look, if not better. Special note on several other team members: Luca helped to identify unique pieces, to complement the design, ranging from high-end brands to value Ikea items. All items suited the design, and the end result was completed, while keeping within budget constraints. Alex and the other workers were delicate, proficient, and always respectful of the building site, and us, whenever we came to visit. They even helped when moving our items back in.

Omar and his team nailed the brief and what we needed to achieve in our two bed flat. We had some very specific needs and a very specific time frame to get it done as well, achieving this was no easy feat. Our job included tearing down two walls, a complete gutting of the interior, new fitted underfloor heating, a new kitchen, completed replastered the entire house and redecorated every room (except the bathroom). All of this needed to happen while we were on an extended break, there was no way we could stay there while the work took place. The result is amazing and our place finally feels like home. The quality of the build, the quality of the decorating, and how quickly they worked was great.

We hired Omar for the most important project in our lives. We bought a Georgian house in West London with a nice garden but was in bad need of a complete renovation. We also wanted to extend the ground floor which needed a planning permission. We had a tight deadline and budget with a defined scope but didn't have much in what we really wanted in colors, moods, etc. On the project management aspect, his performance was excellent. He was able to hire the right contractors for the job, apply and obtain planning permission in time. Crucially, his interior design talents came out very clearly in the later stages. He designed the kitchen room and family room. Some of the living room furniture moved in with us but he was able to find the right dining table and office desk that goes with them. In all the rooms, he brought in a special touch that really make all the difference between a livable and a living space. We are very pleased to have chosen Omar for this job and even happier with the result of the project
