After 13 years of working at a respected London practice, Bronwen founded Connected Architecture, which burst onto the scene with the intention of creating dream homes for clients & forming strong and lasting relationships along the way. Bronwen understood exactly what we were trying to achieve with our project, taking all our ideas on board and offering suggestions to make them even better. She has also steered us through the various stages of the process with good recommendations and advice. It has been a pleasure working with such a personable, professional and experienced architect. If you're looking for an architect to manage your extension or even Grand Design, to add real design flare but to your budget, or even just to manage drawings and builders, look no further. Bronwen at Connected Architecture is brilliant, with a great design eye, and a pleasure to work with. Our extension is stunning, delivered by a good builder she recommended, on time and on budget (give or take our changes!).

We originally found Bronwen at Connected Architecture through Houzz, and have been very happy clients throughout the design and build of our project (a ground floor extension plus significant internal reconfiguration). Bronwen understood what we were trying to achieve, and provided us with good, thoughtful advice and design suggestions, fully meeting our brief. She managed all the planning requirements extremely smoothly and always kept us well-informed on progress. She also made some excellent recommendations of builders, building control inspectors and and glass suppliers, based on her experience with previous client projects. While we didn’t use her to project manage the build, she was responsive on the rare occasions that the builders had questions. She was also a genuine pleasure to work with throughout. Overall, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough, and hope to have the opportunity to work with her again.

I cannot rate Bronwen highly enough. From the moment we first contacted her, she has been highly responsive, a pleasure to work with and her experience and expertise have been invaluable. I contacted Bronwen to design a first storey extension, consisting of a new bedroom en suite and to reconfigure the rest of the upstairs layout. Bronwen listened attentively to our requirements and ideas helping us to determine what would and wouldn't work. Bronwen drew up multiple options for our consideration and made the planning application and building regulations process simple and pain free. Bronwen has recently helped us re-design the ground floor of our house, incorporating a kitchen extension. Bronwen took us efficiently through the design and submission for our building project of a new garage/workshop, ground floor extension and alterations. She thoroughly discussed our requirements with us and put forward alternative designs. We felt that Bronwen understood our needs and was empathetic. We have engaged Connected Architecture for a Grade 2 listed renovation and separately for a new build property. Bronwen has provide an excellent service. She listens carefully to our requirements and has provided good design recommendations. She understands the need for a cost conscious approach without compromising results. She has been very responsive and diligent in her working practice and completely open and upfront about her fees, which has not been our experience with all architects. As of Nov 2020 she has completed buildings regs drawings and tender process and we are due to commence work imminently. We look forward to her continued guidance through the builds and we thoroughly recommend her.

Connected Architecture (Bronwen) was recommended to me by a friend as I needed an architect to help me redesign my 1950s bungalow. Bronwen took on board my ideas and what I wanted to achieve and did an excellent job of turning it into the design I wanted. She was happy to discuss what I wanted in detail and her experience was invaluable because she was able to tell me if some of my ideas would or wouldn't work. On the back of this she was able to create a choice of designs for us to discuss and work with which then led to a final design I was delighted with.
