We worked with James through a genuinely stressful retrospective planning application for our extension. He guided us calmly and clearly through the whole process — managing a complex situation with the council, preparing a strong and tailored application. Exceptional from start to finish. James was a pleasure to work with, always very professional, reliable and attentive to detail. James helped us explore ideas for installing a downstairs loo and opening up access to the kitchen whilst preserving the integrity of our Edwardian property. He came up with creative solutions to ensure a successful result and provided detailed architectural drawings and plans which were invaluable throughout the build. James has extensive knowledge in the field which helped enormously to ease the process, he liaised with structural engineers and submitted plans to building control on our behalf. More importantly James suggested a contractor who was extremely competent in working to his specifications and who completed the work on budget. We are delighted with the results from both a practical and aesthetic perspective, it has transformed our home. James project managed the build working closely with the contractors to ensure that everything went according to plan. Working with an architect was something we had only done once before. James listened to what we had in mind and came up with suggestions, solutions and some really great ideas. What we have now is a great addition to our house and tbh we have James to thank for the creative foresight.

Submitted a planning application for me with London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, provided an excellent service , dealt with the Council and obtained the Planning Consent I needed. He took all the stress out of the situation for me.

James designed our stunning loft conversion around two years ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. I found James very professional and knowledgeable. He created drawings for a rear dormer extension in my loft room and I am very pleased with them. James is easy to contact and is always happy to answer my questions and explain the process.

James was very patient and helpful. He took time to understand my wishes and needs and came up with great solutions. He was also willing and able to take on board friends' thoughts and ideas and came up with a great plan. I felt very supported by him and I really don't think I could have gone ahead with the work without his input. He also made great recommendations about equipment to install, sinks, baths, flooring etc.
