She helped us navigate and plan the layout of our kitchen, living and dining extension, and the whole process has been so much easier thanks to her expertise. She initially created two different layout options, both incorporating my non-negotiables and wish list, giving us the opportunity to compare different approaches. Once we’d chosen our preferred design, Emily was brilliant at taking on board all of my feedback and making thoughtful amendments until everything felt just right. The level of detail she provided was incredible. From the placement of cutlery drawers and bins to lighting plans, planting suggestions and reference images, every element had been carefully considered. She really listened to what we were trying to achieve and came up with ideas that I would never have thought of myself but now couldn’t imagine doing without. We’re still in the early planning stages of our build, but Emily has already made such a positive impact. Knowing these important decisions have been made now will undoubtedly save us so much stress later on. I genuinely feel much more confident and excited about the project. “We used Studio 28’s Designer for a Day service to help us with our living room refurbishment. We had got as far as the wood flooring, wall colour and sofa then realised we didn’t know how to pull all the colours and wood tones together in the way we wanted so asked Studio 28 to help. This is an amazing service and went far beyond my expectations and we are delighted with their suggestions – they are also very friendly and professional. You get a detailed document with a mood board, the layout, different suggested schemes and costings. You can click on links in the document, and they take you to where you can buy the product. They completely got our style and what we wanted to achieve (and within our budget!). We still feel like we have choices but narrowed down to all things that will work in the room. We have had a lovely weekend choosing things from the options presented to us and it has taken all the stress out of the process. It is definitely worth the money as we are convinced it has prevented us from making expensive mistakes – we wanted a beautiful room that we loved but won’t tire of and that is what Studio 28 have given us.
