“We worked with Christi from Wynd Design over a period of two years, on a full house renovation of our 5 bed home, and we honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. We’d always assumed an interior designer would help us with things like furniture, paint colours, curtains and cushions… but this is only a fraction of what Christi does. She guided us through every stage of the process: reviewing architect plans, lighting design, and whole room layouts, not to mention the tricky job of liaising with tradespeople to keep everything on track and on time! When it came to furnishing the house, Christi was just superb. This was one of the aspects of the project we had been the most daunted by, but Christi made it so easy. She worked with us on every decision- skirting boards, sockets, paint colours and wallpaper, furniture, bathroom fittings, kitchen cabinets, curtains and cushions… there really isn’t anything she didn’t help with! Christi really listened to what we wanted, and her suggestions ranged from high end bespoke items to more budget friendly options. She was a sounding board for our ideas, so receptive to feedback, and the whole process felt very collaborative, so we have ended up with a house we completely adore, that still feels entirely “us”. On top of all that, she was an absolute pleasure to work with; professional, reliable, creative, detail-focused, and just a lovely person! Working with Christi made the whole process not only easier, but genuinely fun. We have now been living in our “new” house for 7 months, and are still over the moon with our gorgeous home, we can’t thank you enough Christi!”

“Rebecca has been on board with our project from day one – an extension to the back of our terraced property in Gosforth, full renovation of the ground floor, as well as a new first floor bathroom. We engaged her to design the layout and finish of our interiors and supply everything from start to finish. My husband and I have very different interior style/design preferences so we had to reach a compromise for our newly designed house. Working with our builder to a tight timescale has been no problem and we’ve been kept well appraised of the status of orders, costs and deliveries. “I’ve used Cathy Dean Interior Design now for 3 rooms in my house which needed fully redecorated and restructured when we moved in, and it has been the best money I’ve spent. Layout, best use of space and the ‘flow’ of the rooms was my biggest challenge and now we have such a liveable downstairs that works perfectly for us as a family.
