“I contacted Rande after researching some designers in my area. I had been working with another designer on a complete remodel of my house. After the construction was completed, I felt the designer wasn't getting where I wanted to go with the interior design and so when I met with Rande I felt she understood what was wrong and where this project needed to go in order to finish it. I had been working on this project for a few years and I was exhausted. Rande made it so easy for me! She put together a presentation and gave me a few options and when I couldn't make a decision, I put my trust in her experience, taste and knowledge. We are very close to finishing and I am absolutely thrilled with everything. It has truly been a pleasure working with Rande and her darling assistant, Emilie.”

“Hire the Hive Home team, and in addition to a result that you’ll love, you’ll have fun along the way! I did a gut kitchen remodel when I first moved into my home over 30 years ago, and so I was loath to admit that it was due for an update. While I dreaded the prospect (the cost, the stress, the dust EVERYWHERE!), the accumulating cost of repairs got to the point where I knew I had to bite the bullet on a full reno. When researching local designers, my key goal was to find someone with the skill to design a modern functional kitchen while honoring the architecture of my 1920s Spanish Revival home. I hired Devon and Jess based on the strength of a kitchen remodel they designed for a 1910s Craftsman that struck the prefect balance between modern function and historic charm. I’m now happily on the other end of a renovation project that was a complete joy. Jess and Devon work together seamlessly, complementing each other’s skills and enhancing each other’s ideas. They took my must-haves and challenges, and gave me a kitchen that is exactly what I asked for, while also something I never could have imagined on my own. The added bonus is that, dust be damned, the process was a delight.”
