“We used Active Builders to convert a dressing room into an ensuite bathroom (October 2024) and to remodel an existing bathroom (March 2025) . In each case they did a good job with a high quality finish. We found Active to be proactive and willing to solve problems in a constructive and practical way. In addition, the Active team is pleasant and straightforward to deal with. We would certainly work with Active again.”

“WLB helped us with a full renovation of our property. This included a new first floor extensions and some major structural works, as well as some very particular finishes. We wanted to modernise the home while retaining and restoring victorian features. WLB supported us all the way from reworking the design drawings to defining a final scope for the work and taking us through the whole construction. During the build their project manager supported us all the way through difficult decisions and she took on all the hassle of liaising with all sorts of suppliers - we had a regular meeting at least once a week and were able to talk through everything thoroughly. The site manager was there every day making sure that the work was done precisely and their builders are AMAZING - they are artists. I was amazed at how neat everyone was. We are very happy with the final result and feel that WLB worked really hard to make our vision a reality. Everyone working at WLB that we encountered are incredible to work with. It felt like a real collaboration and we would certainly recommend them to anyone.”

“We found Woodford Architecture & Interiors very professional. We asked them to come up with a plan to renovate our 1980's built traditional villa in Portugal. Gavin & Sarah produced an excellent design, incorporating innovative features whilst retaining the integrity of the original structure and sympathetic to the surrounding architecture. Their attention to detail has been impressive, and they have expended considerable effort in liaising with consultants, builders & suppliers. When problems or queries have arisen during the work, they have responded promptly and effectively, including sourcing manufacturers of specialised material in Portugal and Spain. They have been delightful to deal with, as have all the staff at Woodford Architecture, who have uniformly been friendly and helpful.”
