“I purchased a 3 bedroom home in Agoura after living in a 2 bedroom condo for over a decade. All the furniture I had was either borrowed, purchased by ex-girlfriends or left by an ex-fiance. It was an embarrassing hodgepodge of styles, fashions and decades. It was a running joke with friends. Thus I decided to look at designers. When Mariah first walked in she did a survey of the place, then excitedly pulled up pictures of bar-stools she wanted to order for my kitchen island. I said "ok" and then she pulled up a table she wanted to order for my breakfast nook. "Ok," I said again. We both understood this meant she was hired. Over the course of the next 2 months she decorated everything. I believe after week 2 or 3 she realized that asking my opinion was going no where and took initiative. She designed my entire place -- and not just the rugs, tables, couches and art. She purchased linens, silverware, toilet roll holders and towels. But it didn't stop there. She brought in electricians for recessed lighting, painters for some accented rooms, her own curtains woman -- who also made me a custom bed -- and everyone she brought in was good, affordable, on-time, polite and delivered beyond expectation. When you hire Mariah you don't just get her (which would be more than enough anyhow)... you get an team of professionals. Now when I have guests I get at least two wows per room and rave reviews. I get praised for my style, the quality of my furniture and the tasteful decor. And all I did was make a single call to Mariah sometime in January. She is easily the best hire I've made in my professional life.”
