After interviewing three other designers, Kita stood out for her exceptional style, ease of collaboration, and cost-effectiveness. She presents options quickly, works with her client on revisions, and then sources high-quality materials at reasonable prices. Kita's expertise in software and traditional design methods ensures that clients can visualize their finished space. Kita expertly managed custom work throughout our home, leveraging her network of skilled vendors for everything from custom furniture, to re-upholstery, to art framing. She designed our family room sofa & formal living room pieces to fit our vision perfectly, & her vendors delivered high-quality results quickly & within budget. Notable other projects include a custom wood sofa table (which we love for family movie nights) and a seamless Murphy bed design in our guest room that looks like it came with the house, as well as a full renovation and re-design of our powder bathroom. She also transformed our wine cellar into a multi-purpose drink space, perfectly executed by her team. Kita's work extended beyond the interior, as she oversaw our backyard renovation, selecting a contractor, designing the space, and choosing materials and furniture. Her attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot (inevitable) issues ensured a seamless & on-time completion. The result is an incredible outdoor space perfect for intimate gatherings and large-scale entertaining that we will enjoy for years to come. Kita's design services truly gave us our dream home. “It is a challenge to write a review of such excellence in every phase and detail without sounding hyperbolic or seeming to over-praise but indeed every piece of this house other than the original floorplan is custom designed from the floors to the walls to the architecture inside. Even the books on the tables, decorations, and plants were either their choice of or by our approval and agreement with them. The house was built from a dirt lot to the finished product in this project. JAC Interiors principals Andrea, Christine, and Tim were with us in every step of building, furnishing, and decorating our Home. We moved from a large home in Los Angeles and did not take one piece of furniture. We took a few favorite items and a couple of small pieces of art. Most importantly, they listened to us and built us the house we wanted. They directed us to great choices but it was always about them hearing what we loved. They showed great respect for the budget and kept us updated along the way. The results are truly stunning. Every seat or table or sofa or bed is comfortable as well as beautiful. We moved in with sheets on the bed, art on the walls, and our toothbrushes in hand. It was so complete that we had house guests stay only 3 days after we moved in. These amateur photos do not do the project justice. The house is going to be professionally photographed by a photographer who wishes to submit this project for publication. We are considering the publication part, but I will add some professional photos after the shoot if we are allowed. Oh. ...one more thing. They are delightful people who showed genuine care and concern for us. I will hope to have them as our guests for dinner at the house.”

(And believe me this is quite important as there is a lot of waiting involved for pieces to come in, etc!) I’m terms of style, Marina met me exactly where I was and presented exceptionally tasteful and lasting pieces that completely met my expectations - and went beyond . Marina listened to my preferences and kept all my design cues aligned to come up with a beautiful space. I would hire this firm again and again. Also, as a plug, I had some painting and wallpapering done and these contractors were also exceptional and entirely professional.”
