Extremely poor experience with this company. They were contracted to design and install a kitchen costing in excess of £80,000. Issues arose almost immediately that we'd paid the deposit, and included: - delays and inaccuracies in documentation and as this was part of a wider renovation, this made them difficult to work with and had knock-on impacts on other aspects of the works which ultimately cost us financially - ultimately they failed to turn up on installation date, and didn't even bother to call us or our builders to confirm that they didn't intend to install as planned - issues with the kitchen itself - doors that didn't match, installation details missed, units that now sag - ultimately they fitted 2 heavily scarred pieces of quartz as our worktops, and within a few days, a corner of the island fell off in our hands They did agree to rectify these issues, but before they got organised to do that, the operating company was sold due to liquidity issues. The new owners have outright refused to honour rectification of any of these issues (for us and others), because they are a 'new' company and our contract is with the 'old' company. The 'trading as' brand, website and instagram page have not changed, but the operating companies have. It's not actually a 'family business' as the website suggests, and the company itself was only formed in recent months. As a customer with approximately £20,000 worth of loss and no warranty, I suggest checking company's house & google reviews for some broader facts about the business and customer reviews that cannot be blocked by the company itself (as is the case on instagram).

Absolutely faultless. I can't speak highly enough of the company. The kitchen looks great and as it is made-to-measure it fits perfectly which is thanks in no small part to Tom the designer and Joubert who made numerous trips to site during our build to survey. This is not a service that you will find replicated by any of the bigger well known brands and surprisingly the price difference is minimal. In effect, for a very slight price premium you receive a completely bespoke service that delivers everything you could hope for. Thank you to all at The Wood Works as well as their fitters who took a great deal of time and care over the installation.

Amazing design, excellent hand holding and liaison from architect and personnel with contractor. Fitters did amazing job and price to quality ratio extraordinary.

We couldn’t be happier that we picked The Woodworks for our kitchen. From the first call with designer Tom we knew we wanted to work with them. He listened to our ideas and understood our budget creating our dream kitchen on the first design. When we found we couldn’t move an old chimney breast, nothing was too much trouble reconfiguring the design to create a modern kitchen that celebrated the Victorian features. We had the really premium appliances such as our huge fisher & Payel fridge and caple wine fridge and even with the covid / Brexit shortage of range master cookers Tom managed to track down the one we wanted which was the last one in the uk. Despite the madness of lockdown and Brexit they managed to get us an earlier fitting date and the fitting team were absolutely incredible. They are were so lovely to have around and tidied up every day. Fitter Andy went above and beyond to refit a piece of matching black wood into our extra fan unit in the chimney breast so it all perfectly matched up. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the team there. Every detail from the drawers to the cupboard placement to the proposed lights and letting us have double thickness stone for our island have us our dream kitchen. Everyone walks in and says wow. We would use the woodworks again and again. We were lucky to get to go to the showroom which was a magical kitchen treasure trove of inspiration and ideas as most of our design process had to be done on video due to covid. When we met Tom and the team they couldn’t be more welcoming, even when we were two hours late due to horrendous traffic getting from south to north London. Woodworks you are amazing.

Over the moon with our new kitchen! The design is exactly what we wanted, the fitters were excellent, and the craftsmanship is fantastic. Everyone at The Wood Works helped to make the process as smooth and as easy as possible. I would recommend them to anyone looking at getting a new kitchen.

It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with The Wood Works. Our existing kitchen was 20 years old, and the layout of the room did not make use of the available space. Josh produced inspired ideas for re-designing the whole area, and really listened to what we wanted to achieve, patiently fine-tuning the plans to our particular requirements. We are now the proud owners of a stunning and practical new kitchen which has completely exceeded our expectations. When my sister visited for the first time, she said "it looks like the kitchen of a celebrity chef!" (which I am not). What a transformation. The Wood Works is a family-run business, and that really shows in terms of their professional service, quality of fittings, attention to detail, reliability and easy communication. Nothing was too much trouble. At the start of the project, Josh promised we would have our kitchen by Christmas. I was sceptical as we were in the midst of the pandemic, but they delivered as promised, with no hitches. Thoroughly recommend.

Woodworks provided us with excellent service, from planning and design to finished kitchen Build quality is excellent and it really does give the house the WOW factor Our kitchen was part of a new build process for house we have built from scratch. Deadlines constantly moved, and Woodworks worked around everybody to get the job done on time and in full After sales is very good, with tweaks to doors and cupboards all part of the service!
