Found Instil through Houzz- a fantastic find. They redesigned our family bathroom to be everything I wanted-and more. Their fitter Hubert has an eye for detail I have not experienced before and having him around for the installation was a pleasure. And the bathroom is simply beautiful-huge thanks to Steven and Instil for a wonderful job. I couldn’t recommend Instil more highly.

After searching for some time we found Instil Design who created our amazing new en suite, transforming our niggly, clunky and boxy old room into a fresh clean lined wet room without breaking the bank. We love it, thank you!

They did a wonderful job of creating a beautiful bathroom for us. The finish is amazing, all of the products they use are great quality and they thought through all the practicalities of the design so it not only looks lovely but is a joy to use. They recommended an installer who was wonderful. He did a fantastic job and everything looks perfect. He also was so tidy and left no mess around the house. Only negative is it was expensive and stretched our budget, but we are happy with the results.

The design was superb. Modern and totally practical. It transformed the room into a much more useful space as well as massively improving the overall appearance!! When a minor problem occurred it was rapidly rectified without any intrusion into our way of life. Well done. If further bathrooms need attention we will engage Instil.

Instil Design worked with us to produce a design which overcame a number of physical problems presented by the characteristics, construction and irregular room shape of an old house. The design that they came up with and we agreed was completed as per the original brief and exactly as instil’s drawings. We are delighted with the result.

Martina and the Instil team were exceptional from start to finish on our project. The initial layout options she presented were innovative and well thought through - Martina came up with clever ways to make use of the space that we never would have imagined. Instil was recommended to us by a kitchen designer who had seen a new bathroom designed by them when visiting one of his clients. We cannot thank him enough. After approaching them, Martina set up a meeting to ascertain our requirements for refurbishing the bathrooms and cloakroom. She listened carefully and came up with some ingenious practical and stylish designs. After deciding to go ahead, she introduced us to an installer, who she knew would do a brilliant job (Mike of Carbon Construction). I recently completed a sizeable renovation of my home that included Kitchen, Utility & a Master Bed, Dressing room & en-suite. The whole house needed decorating, which I had undertaken the full interior design myself! By the time I came to the bathrooms I knew what I wanted but the tank was pretty much empty! Plus I didn't know where to source what I wanted. I was looking Houzz.com when I came across Instil Design and a dreamy white marble bathroom with a bespoke vanity. That was when I made contact. Martina rang me the next day and we immediately hit if off, I realised she got exactly what I wanted and what sort of feel I wanted our en-suite to have. I basically want to feel like I'm on a lovely weekend away at a boutique hotel and that's exactly what she got me! The most lovely bathroom, with brushed gold finishes, a sumptuous shower and enormous bath. A shower toilet ! No room for a bidet and I'm a massive fan (if you think they are not for you - try one, they are so good). The tiles are not marble but a very large practical marble effect porcelain which for me is perfect. I spend a lot of time in there, especially in lock down (hiding mostly or soaking in the bath !). Martina also updated my sons en-suite, designed the guest en-suite and very kindly sourced me some bits for my own little downstairs loo design. We have been delighted with the finished results and service and would highly recommend Martina/Instil to anyone with a juicy project on their hands.

We have a victorian house and found it difficult to find someone willing to take on the challenge of creating a new ensuite and refurb of our family bathroom. Martina had no hesitation about taking on the challenge and Dan, a true craftsman in every required discipline, mastered our wonky walls and between them created two fabulous bathrooms for us with quality fittings. This was our first time using InStil Design to commission a project to overhaul both our en-suite and family bathrooms. These two bathrooms were original since we bought the house thirty years ago. Hence we wanted a design that would be in keeping with the house decor, be constructed with materials that would last for another thirty years, be safe for our 2.5 year old boy to use and lastly prove cost effective. Martina's design reflected all our requirements in her plans and we are extremely happy with the results. Over the last few years we have had Martina and her team design and coordinate installation of three bathrooms. In each case we chose to have them decide everything from fixtures and fittings to the colour scheme. Martina did this will skill and care, listening carefully to what it was we were trying to achieve, visiting our home to pick up on style clues, then producing a design that blew us away every time. Each bathroom has the 'wow' factor we had hoped for - even though we couldn't put it into words beforehand! Martina also actively works with the installer (Simon Hubert is superb) to overcome any issues or challenges should they arise. Her designs are creative and inspiring while also avoiding 'form over function', ensuring that everything is a joy to use on a daily basis. The bottom line: you could no doubt go and buy all the components and tiles for your bathroom and do it cheaper. However, it's knowing *what* to buy and how to bring it all together that is Martina's skill – and she is simply very good at it indeed.

This was the third and biggest project completed by InStil Design for our house. We are absolutely delighted with the transformation of our kitchen and dining-room to a semi-open plan design. Martina did a fantastic job, as before, that went way beyond our considerations and expectations. The building work was carried out to perfection by Dan, who was very competent, knowledgeable, a hard worker, and a pleasure to have working at the house. The end result is amazing from the overall design to the fine details. All the products are of a high quality and complement each other in terms of design and colours, and are very easy to use in the new spaciousness we have acquired. Martina came to see the work being carried out on several visits and we cannot thank her and the team enough for all their brilliant work. This is my second recommendation for Instil design. We came back to Instil for Martina's design expertise. She really is a genius with creating space where we didn't think we had any. Martina was able to create two ensuite bathrooms by remodelling our existing ensuite and turning an airing cupboard and toilet into another. Our existing ensuite bathroom was very tired and tight for space. It is now so bright and airy with the folding doors giving us the space to move around when we are not showering. The lighting is subtle and highlights the bathroom design features. Martina has a unique talent that you would really struggle to find in your high street bathroom store. We strongly recommend Instil Design. You will not be disappointed.

InStil Design Ltd designed our new En Suite as part of our house extension in 2015, we provided them with a brief description of what we wanted along with the dimensions of the room. The design that they came up with met all our requirements and they gave us various options on the sanitary ware, furniture, tiles and shower screen etc. Once we selected what we wanted they finalised the design with a detailed plan and photographic images of how the finished room would look. Once finished we were delighted with the outcome the room looks fantastic and still does nearly 4 years later we are extremely happy with our new En Suite. The cost of the design and materials was within our original budget, our friends and family have all said that the room is amazing, I have attached a few photographs of the finished job. I would have no hesitation in recommending InStil Design Limited for your new building project or bathroom upgrade a job well done from a very professional organisation.

Instil designed and installed two new bathrooms for us earlier in the year. From the initial design consultation and selection of products to suit our budget to the provision of CAD drawings, we couldn't have had a better service. Martina and her team are excellent! It is only a few months on when you use a bathroom on a day-to-day basis that you have a proper chance to take stock and make a true evaluation of the layout and quality of workmanship. I can honestly say, I wouldn't change anything - they are perfect!

Marina's team really listen when you brief them, and come up with creative designs that feel tailored to your wishes. We had them transform the worst part of our house into the best by rethinking a downstairs loo and adjacent boot room. It's a part of the house most visitors see and it's now a 'wow!' rather than an 'oh'. The installers were very pleasant and professional and it all looks as good as it did when it was fitted two years ago. Five star experience.

Instil provided a 'turnkey' service for us in delivering our downstairs bathroom/steam room. I had been to 2 previous designers before arriving at Instil and had decided to walk away from both as they really hadn't listened to what I wanted and I felt that they were overpriced. I am pleased to say that Martina and her team did a great job for us - we love the bathroom and make regular use of the steam room. Martina took great care to listen to our aspirations during the design process and using these, and her own ideas and experience, delivered a really attractive design that fitted within the rest of the house effortlessly. The build was relatively painless and finished to a high standard - 2 years on it still looks as good. InStil Design worked with me on my main bathroom which was very outdated and an awkward long narrow space. Martina's spatial awareness is outstanding and she was able to come up with some excellent ideas on her first site visit. Martina was also very willing to incorporate my own ideas and preferences into the overall design. Martina and Lynne were both on hand throughout the project with any questions that needed answering and worked directly with my installers when they had questions. I cannot fault their excellent customer service and willingness to help with all aspects of the design, supply and installation. Will definitely be using them again for my next bathroom project.
