Great interior design is about making life better. Picture a home that not only perfectly encapsulates your personality and style - but where life just flows better - more easily - everyday tasks streamlined by clever organisation designed to fit your lifestyle exactly. A home that gives you a thrill every time you walk through the door. That can be yours. When it comes to style, we are all made up of such a mishmash of life experiences that we can be inspired by many different styles, trends and eras at once. All of these ideas represent parts of who we are. I believe that a home that reflects these multitudes has the power to make us the most happy and contented. Your style influences could be a mash-up of anything from the mood of your favourite film, the colours of an art piece, an iconic fashion editorial you tore out of a magazine years ago or a romantic road trip you took on your honeymoon. You might have a thing for both traditional as well as ultra contemporary designs, and a love of Mid-Century Modern, 1970s, Art Deco, 1980s Memphis… and beyond. It can be hard to condense all these ideas into a cohesive interior design. Let that be my job. I get a kick out of combining the old with the new, textural contrasts, natural materials, and unexpected colour combinations: designing with an eye for balance, tempering the subtle with the bold, the understated with the dramatic. By layering your influences, we can create a design that feels organically grown - that transcends trends to create your own personal style. The result: an individual space that both excites and invigorates as well as cosies and cossets. A home for entertaining - that place everyone wants to be invited… but also, the place where you can curl up, recharge and come back to yourself. When you have your home in order, both you and your life can flourish. The space we live in really can inspire us to be the best versions of ourselves, catapulting us into a whole different headspace - alive with possibility - your space aligned with exactly who you are and where you’re going. I studied History of Art at Leeds University, followed by the Diploma in Interior Design at KLC, Chelsea Harbour. I then worked a number of years at an award winning design firm before setting up on my own. Along the way I have also Production and Set Designed many music videos and award winning short films.
