Markham Webber Design Ribble Valley

I decided to finally get the kitchen I've wanted for 30 years and Clare at Markham Webber realised that for me. I've been living in the house for about a month now and the kitchen is still delighting me, from the custom stainless steel 'wet side' with Quooker to the grey quartz 'hot side' (induction hob, oven, coffee machine). For a small space, the storage is absolutely fantastic. And the high gloss white, high cupboards really show off the grey mirrored splashbacks. It really is just fabulous, I couldn't be more delighted.

Claire worked with us on the remodelling & refurbishment of a barn conversion. Claire provided the furniture and appliances for the kitchen area (island, ovens, fridges), utility room (storage, 2nd sink) and boot room (storage & laundry). The overall design was completed through four iterations as the overall project took shape with the architect. Claire led with the design and was also very receptive about our suggestions & ideas. Testing different ideas in the computer model was never too much trouble and the final design incorporated all our 'wish list' of items - including hiding the gun cabinet! The close liaison with the architect and the general contractor to coordinate details of the layout and bespoke sizes went extremely well and virtually to the millimetre. (Some aspects of the barn meant standard sizes weren't appropriate). Claire provided a full set of drawings & water/electrical/lighting requirements to the architect. Similarly, she kept her model up to date with the architect's design so that a good picture of the intended result was available. Claire monitored the build progress with us and the architect, and visited site a couple of times to ensure that all was progressing as per drawings. Delivery of the furniture & equipment was right on the schedule as requested, and then coordinating the fitting with the general contractor's trades was tied in as necessary with no dramas. The final finish we have found to be excellent, and now three months since we moved back into the house we are absolutely pleased with it and haven't found any issues - either detailed quality or 'what if we had just...'! Our project took 15 months from grant of planning permission for the barn rebuild and the initial meeting with Claire in Jan 17 to completion in March 18. The relationship throughout was clear, firm, professional but also very friendly with the whole project team. We would be very happy to work with Claire again on our next project.

Consistently exceeded our expectations! Claire and the team operate this business in a fantastic way. Nothing was ever a problem, our kitchen fits perfectly! We really looked forward to the design sessions with Claire, she listened to both our requirements, and whilst keeping a close eye on cost it was the finishing touches that made all the difference. I have just had the final invoice and yes it’s a large amount of money to spend, but it was worth every penny. We did look at other showrooms locally and went through the usual design/ quotation process, the final bill cost slightly more than we wanted to spend but the end result is worth it. I have to mention John who installed the Kitchen. He arrived @ 7-45 every morning on the dot! Created minimal dust and noise, was very patient and spent more time than I care to mention ensuring everything lined up and closed correctly, he even programmed the ovens for us. It will be some time before we have another kitchen, but will recommend Claire and the team at MW at every opportunity. A local family run business with this much experience wins every time.

Simon and Jane have been outstanding from start to finish... Jane always arranged late night appointments for us as we both worked and went above and beyond to design a kitchen that was just perfect for our new house. We wanted a "Hidden Pantry" and Jane made it happen in her design... just what we wanted. Gary the fitter was lovely too... he fitted the kitchen to a very high standard and covered it completely as we were still having building work done. Both Simon and Jane came out to our kitchen after I struggled to remove some glue from the hob and they both got "stuck in" and they came bearing gifts too... a brand new set of Schulte-Ufer pans (as the ones we purchased didn't seem to be working on the induction hob). Another lovely gesture from them was a beautiful bouquet of flowers being delivered to the house when I had a baby girl... just lovely lovely people. Also Jess has been really helpful on the phone too when both Jane or Simon have been away from the office. If anyone is thinking of buying a kitchen, I would definitely recommend as they have been top quality before, during and even afterwards. We still keep in contact now and they are always quick to get back to us either by e-mail or telephone.

Following our move to a new build we decided the kitchen installed by the builders didn't meet our requirements. We contacted Intoto Ribble Valley and Claire visited us to discuss ideas and designs. She understood exactly what we were looking for and was very knowledgeable and helpful with excellent ideas. Our new kitchen was installed with very little disruption and Claire kept us updated at all stages. We now have a lovely, contemporary kitchen with all the space and storage that we could wish for. We would not hesitate to recommend Intoto to family and friends.

Very good liaison from start to finish - and beyond. All members of the team were very pleasant, helpfull and competant. Fully consulted during the design and specification phases. The company were flexible on the installation date, as we had to postpone by 6 weeks. The fitter did a first class job with attention to small, but important details. It is reasonable to expect a minor problem or unforseen hiccup with a large installation. Ours were dealt with speedily and resolved to our full satisfaction. Recommended.

We are absolutely delighted with our all singing all dancing modern new kitchen. From the initial consultation, throughout the ideas process, planning, changing , etc in toto , with Claire leading and designing our kitchen , we could not have had a better experience. The icing on the cake came today when Claire came to have a sign off visit and came with various goodies including a beautiful box of flowers which set off our new kitchen perfectly.
