Now colours that I think would look lovely with your blue curtains are the soft pastels - green, pink and pale yellow, but you want a deep cosy colour so let’s move on! I’m a little bit obsessed with dirty pinks at the moment, a world away from Barbie pink so don’t panic. Colours like F&B Setting Plaster or Little Greene’s Dorchester Pink, or Blush which is much darker and cosier. I also like deep stone colours such as LG Roman Plaster, or if you wanot to go even darker, Silt looks nice, very organic tones. I’ll try and find some pics. Comments (10)The first mock up looks the best to me. The issue is that digital renderings don't show how the light affects the colour so just bear that in mind. I think the black looks traditional and so a warm grey would be more sympathetic if you want to modernise it slightly. Colours look much lighter on exteriors so it can be a good idea to test things that are slightly darker than you might consider initially....See MoreOpinions on window colour
Comments (17)Hi Ruth, do you mean the Stone Grey and/or Concrete Grey? I was in the window shop today and spied a sample lying on the floor. It was a mid grey with a browny quality which I really liked and brought it home to put next to my bricks. Unfortunately, the person in the showroom couldn’t tell us what colour it was, it didn’t match any of her swatches and the MD has gone to Australia on holiday.
