What would you add to this space?

This is a beautiful, minimalist dream with clean lines, a lot of light and smooth wooden floors. If you could experiment and add some objects, furniture or colour to this space, what would you go for? Or would you keep it as it is?

This beautiful room already has wood and metal elements but perhaps it might be enhanced by stone... say, a sculpture in the corner on the left; something in keeping with the existing impression of tranquility and simplicity.

It is beautiful and serene, but I have an urge to splash some colour at it, perhaps a large painting on the tall white wall on the left... I'd then put a very comfortable but contemporary sofa underneath, paired with an armchair and make it a morning coffee with a newspaper kind of relaxing area.

I think your layout is perfect to the size of your space. Don't move any furniture and leave as it was on Pic #1 at the very start. Back to question about colour, I have several examples for you how to create combination of cushions. Amount is up to your taste. But I will recommend minimum 5 or 7 but you can go for more 9 or 11. It depends on how many cushions you like when you seat on sofa. You can get several shades and even with similar pattern Go for several colours but of the same fabric (By the way, this photo, shows you great example of green and flowers arrangement around the place. Get as an idea)) The easiest option here. Simply go to fabric store, pic velvet or other plain fabric you like, choose several colour tone or close shades of the same fabric to match. Similar fabric, easy to match. Or go for brighter colour to complement your main colours scheme.

Blue or Green are great colors to your room But also Think over to use some Real plants in your Roms in Denmark is it a Big trend to have Big plants right now i haved always haved alot of plants in my home, and for me it does not feel right or like me if there not is plants in the most used room like dinning room ,Living room, Kitchen, Hall, and so on.. my old Friends Call my first small homes the rainforrest becauce my mom and dad did also have many green plants overall in their home.. and my dad did (and still Do !) bye a new bucket flowers to my mom evrry week! So there is allways fresh beautifuls flowers in a vase on the table.. they have be married 46 years.. and been togethers from they was 15 and 17 years old.. my dad was delivering flowers out for a flowers store when he was a Big boy! and his grandparents had a free land Greenhouse at that time.. so when we was moving to a House where there was a Big Garden there need a lot of love and hard work !! I just get my eyes open for a hole new Big World!! I found out that is only your Money Wallet and fantasi there Can break how Big dreams you Can realize to build a oase outside! a new room under open skyes! where you Can feel peace, make a anneks where you Can maybe be kreative, have a bed, to take a nap or rest !use it to be mediafree zone! So you Can go away from the devil stress from all mails,social medias and phones there is constant ask for that your shall see a mail, new status on twitter,link ind , facebook, Snapchat , and so on!! My Dream is that i shall build a anneks togethers whith my dad when the Day come where my husbond and me have enought money to bye US a good House we Can make to a safe loved home, we Can live in for the rest of ours life togethers ..

Where does it open onto? the garden? if you don't have a greenhouse and this wall gets any sun you could have a big window put in and have a potting bench? Or just reclaim it as part of garage to make that space for flexible. Although I do love the art room idea, if its not insulted it will be cold and once insulated it's going to be tiny.

When we got the plans drawn up we wanted a space to work becuse our orginal small dining room that was also my workspace is now a bedroom, So we need a desk but also thought we could use the space as a secondary seating area. The doors to the living room will be directly opposite the glass sliding doors (though its just an open doorway at the minute). Its a tricky space!

What a wonderful space. I particularly love the height of the space with the changes in levels. The calm restrained palette reminds me of a gallery and would make the perfect backdrop for a piece of art or sculpture. Perhaps something delicate that could hang from the ceiling and be suspended above the floor keeping the area feeling clear and uncluttered but adding some colour and texture. It could be appreciated from all the different levels within this space.

If it was my own space then I would make lots of origami flowers and hang them from clear nylon thread - like a giant mobile. It would remind me of the beautiful flower displays that you see in Girona's festival "Temps de flors" and bring a reminder of wonderful holiday memories back home.

I would add an amazing light fixture, something with lots if glass and sparkle, maybe Italian, vintage.
