I have good floorboards in my dining room which I would like to expose. My problem is approximately 1 metre square of the floor is concrete. This is in the entrance to the kitchen which is in the middle of the wall. Would a rug over the concrete look out of place; or can someone suggest a better solution? Many thanks.
