Trying to decide on new windows as I don't really like the dark brown. Any suggestions on colour and style? Garage doors will be changed to suit. Thinking maybe dark grey.

We've finally made a move forward and have gone with a flush Casement Window. (anglian) Still undecided on colour and are looking at Agate Grey or cream (the anglian cream is quite dark yellow) for the windows Looking at making the door more central with a glass panel down either side. (solid composite door) sage green in colour.

What a gorgeous house. I think that duplicating things is a good idea, so keeping the front door oak makes sense because it relates to the oak windows upstairs. You could then have oak windows, or, as Forzaitalia says a dark colour, but if going for a dark colour such as black or charcoal I would consider painting the bargeboards/soffits the same colour so it looks deliberate. You could also stain the upstairs cladding black which would look really smart next to the oak. Black can look a bit harsh next to pale render but I think it works really well next to brick.
