Internal Window

Hi - I have an internal window between my kitchen and livingroom which allows more light for both rooms. Can you suggest any ways to make this a feature or should I just get it blocked off

Hi. You can buy fretwork panelling. I'm not sure on the style of the house but you can get a few patterns, mostly moroccan I suspect. This pic is from Elle decor

What does the kitchen look like as it needs to tie in with that. It seems quite deep too. So maybe a piece of stone work top or natural slate, depends on the kitchen really.

😂 I didn’t think envelope window sounded quite right! i can only see just over half of the sofa, is the other end against the wall? Is the sofa staying there? I like it, but it is a bit dated. Reed glass is making a comeback. If you don’t need it for extra light then I would block it up. If you do need it for extra light then maybe remove the wooden partitions and just have a clear glass rectangle instead. Glass room dividers seem to be quite popular in modern homes so here are a few examples.
