When I ran a business from home, I had a huge desk and it was always full of junk and I had what I used to call "a lasagna" approach to paperwork, it just used to be in layers. I'd put papers to one side, and then put more papers to the same one side, and then more and more. It was the worlds most untidy desk. Consequently, I certainly wasn't something I wanted to preserve for posterity in a photo. LOL

Hi, I am willing to sell a desk that was designed for me, we have moved and we do not have enough room anymore. This unique desk was created with the Captain Nemo Submarine in mind. It is in 4 parts (around 300 kg, metal parts). The rusty look was made voluntarily. The rivets came from the Eiffel Tower provider. You will find pictures enclosed. Hi Tani, Can I start by saying what a cool space you have! You can see you've made it your own and I love the use of plants. So, what about an upcycle? I think a small sideboard unit or dresser would look amazing. A solid wood so you could give it a light sand, then really you could go wild with a charcoal, graphite or white. OR just to throw something a little wild out there a natural rattan style wood could look amazing as it would bounce so well off all the natural plants and foliage you have in there. If you find one with a couple of small side drawers you could look at cutting the drawer fronts off the boxes, joining the fronts together and adding hinges to one side then this could house the printer. Drill a hole through the back panel where needed and all cables etc can feed through there saving there being unsightly wires under the unit. I would love to see what you go for, please do update us. What sort of detail would you get for 3K? Does it include shelves or cupboards under the desk. Do you have a sketch or a drawing of what you would like? Veneered plywood is an inexpensive material, architects use it a great deal and may be suitable. You can get oak or birch faced ply.
