please tell me about the tile. I'd like it for my kitchen back splash.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thank you for your interest in our Naples Coastal Retreat Series Custom Home. The photo is of one of the vanity stations in the master bath. The vanity is 56 inches wide and the ceiling is at 10 feet. The cabinetry in this custom home was all custom made at our own cabinet shop in Naples, Florida. Here are the specs on the back splash:

Hi, Tiles, paint, glass splashback or using the same worktop effect as a splashback all depends on personal choice as this is the space you will be using and seeing daily especially if you are a real foodie. If it is tiles you are wanting, I wouldnt tile to the top, I think it may be too much Especially with metro tiles; rather I'd prefer to line the tiles with the window bars and see if the extractor can be lowered by a notch to ensure there is continuing straight line through out. Alternatively, I'd consider a neutral coloured glass splashback behind the counter space which would co-ordinate with your walls and work surface.... Good Luck

Maybe some kind of tile trim? Most of them fit half under the tiles to secure them. Or plastic strips like window fitters use to tidy up gaps. Something like this but tile shops will have a selection.

Thanks for the advice everyone. The walls are just plastered at the moment, so I'm thinking to paint them a shade of white first to get a better idea of how the space looks, then decide on some tiles. It's difficult to picture with how it is at the moment! I do like the idea of having white zellige tiles placed vertically, but worried it might look a bit busy if it goes from the countertop to the ceiling.
