Hello Mandy, Have you thought about a plaster colour or something that is like the bare wall as you have it.. I actually really like it!! ... You could have plain transparent glass and painted wall a similar plaster colour underneath...... I think this brings out the warmth, it really opens up the kitchen too and works well with the brown worktop.. and it really works with the oven!! For me the green splash back gives it a cold tone.. It looks really gr8 as it is!... so another suggestion for you before you decide! I have included 2 colours that would be lovely.. both by Little Greene... Rolling fog and Rolling fog pale.. With a transparent glass splash back it would be amazing I think and also is really good with your cabinets.. (Like the style of those too)..but you might hate my suggestion of course! : ) ) Rolling fog pale

I personally love tiles. I think they add interest. However I had to google Wow Fez tiles as I had no idea what they were! So they are Moroccan hand made style tiles and you are wanting plain white ones? Is that right? Are they like the ones in my second pic? If so, I think they are beautiful. I think metro/subway tiles are a bit boring unless they are an interesting colour. I would tile behind the cooker and up to the window sills. However some people have just an upstand in the same material as the worktop (picture below) and use a washable paint on the rest of the wall. It boils down to personal taste.

Hi, its a really nice space I know you mentioned you like the country style, you could incoporporate some wooden paneling similar to the image below for your wall and backsplash as it give a rustic vibe. Alternativly sage green tiles would lokk really nice and still keep the space feeling bright. I think a sage green would work really well with your white units and soften the black cooker (Ive added an image below). It would also work with either the grey floor you currently have or the beige travestine tiles if you did decide to continue them from your hallway. You could then add some sage accents like a clock, lights etc to bring the scheme together (taking inspiration from the below image.) And adding a plant maybe a Fern in a rustic pot will bring the country vibe into your space. Im not sure what your current units are made from but you could look into pianting some of the units to bring the colour scheme together. Hope this helps Louise

Are you saying the glass splashback is the wrong size because it doesn’t go all the way up to the extractor fan? If so I’d guess that they’ve installed a standard size as opposed to a purpose made size. If so l would just take that one down and get a taller one made. You could always have the splashback all the way across the wall. l don’t think it needs tiles too. You could add a tint of colour with the emulsion,
