I agree with the earlier comments. There are too many different materials being used and the drive looks very hard. Consider the following: Extend the upper cladding of the house to the corners. Then the upper storey window will look better positioned. Paint white Change the window to a modern, flat style to coordinate with the longer horizontal windows over the entrance and the extension to the right. Stone or brick clad the lower areas of the house all the same. A warm rusty red brick would look inviting. Extend the roof over the garage door and the entrance further out to create an overhang. Use a dark grey tile. Support the overhang with finished posts on brick bases and grow climbing plants up them for colour. Change the front doors to double wood doors in a welcoming colour like dark mahogany stain or painted red or soft green. Alternatively, have a central door with glass side lights. Cut back the shrub nearest the house and plant colour, either shrubs in other shades or flowers. Plant up the loose graveled area with a mid-sized tree and ivy or pachysandra at the base for easy maintenance. It's a lovely shape house, but needs more uniformity. I hope this gives you some ideas.

Hello Emmeline, I have black and a dark charcoal in the kitchen .. In the living room it's black and then a kind of greyish mauve which I make myself.. Most of the woodwork is painted with a colour I made myself.. My front door is charcoal by fired earth.. It's lovely with brass hardware.. :))

I know this thread is slightly old now, but I've just used Bedec msp paint on the outside of my upvc porch and it's amazing stuff! Would highly recommend (took me years to pluck up the courage to try it) I spoke to the company's rep and got advice on what to use. Clean with an anti-fungal cleaner (NOT sugar soap as that leaves a residue) let dry. Scour with a green scoured pad OR a v v fine sandpaper which is only to take off the sheen and not to scratch the plastic. Wipe clean with water and let dry. Apply the paint with a brush not too thickly or thinly. Wait to dry 2-6 hours then repaint. Takes one month to cure. My experience - I did black over brown and 2 coats was fine. I found all the brushes I tried (not real hair ones) did leave some marks but I think that's due to the paint. Don't go over it too much in one spot. It's quite thick - plasticed when it dries so work quickly. Less of an issue inside when the sun isn't heating it up of course. Water based so cleans up easily and good range of colours. No primer required so v speedy job! I debated whether to try this or the bullseye 123 primer etc but I'm glad I went for this as it was a lot less work and it looks brilliant.

Have no experience personally but in answer to your first, you can spray outside only or both sides.
