Hi, Depends on which way the window faces. A south or south east facing window will get a lot of sunlight in the mornings, which can be fantastic at waking you up and getting you into a good mood. It's also great in the summer as you can crack a window open on a hot night to get some airflow. However, some windows can be draughty and there's nothing worse than trying to fall asleep in the winter with an icy blast blowing in over your face! In short: Consider the direction of the window and how well sealed it is. Also is the window central in the room or is it off to one side? Hope this helps. Regards KB

hi there. bed placement would depend on the various factors, for instance the size of the bed, size of the bed in relation to the room, size and placement of windows... is it not possible to position it on the wall with the door? are you able to provide pictures of the actual space and bed, or a sketch/ plan view at least?

European houses don't appear to be designed on Feng shui guidelines therefore must be quite difficult to place items in such spaces unless one is lucky to accidentally have spaces that coincide with Feng Shui principles. Guess houses need to be designed with these principles in construction and then interior placement naturally follows through from concept to finish.

Thank you. Yes, using bed 5 seems to be the best idea so will proceed! Waiting on a couple of quotes, which I hope come through this weekend. New windows are being installed next month & want to decorate upstairs again & order a new front door so need the messy bathroom done first. Thanks all :)
