As Jonathan says, you start with the Soil pipe, and if you've agreed with your bathroom fitter that he's able to put the pipe across the wall behind the toilet and under the bath to get to the outside wall, then that's fine, but if not, you really need to discuss it with a professional. There are many reasons and regulations that you need to stick to with regards placement of soil pipes, because sometimes you need access to unblock them. When designing a bathroom, it is important to know where you have to have some items and then decide where you can put the other items that you want. Check the soil pipe situation as this dictates where everything else can go. I suspect unfortunately, that if you can't solve the soil pipe problem and the toilet needs to go on the outside wall ( which is the normal place for it ), then you may have to have a re-think and possibly change what you have purchased. I've tried to have a re-jig with what you've purchased and moving the toilet to it's normal position, but i can only make them fit if you do what Jonathan suggests. Even then, I would suggest that the door be moved along the wall to accommodate the tall unit. You will have pipework from the vanity that you need to box in, it can go under the bath, but at least it's just water not the soil pipe. I would have also considered a bath to fill the whole gap of 2000mm not a 1700mm, but you can use the gap to build a space at the end both covering the pipes and giving you somewhere to stand toiletries. The taps for the bath aren't marked, so i'd probably put them on the bottom end nearest the vanity on the flipped plan below.

I recently did a facebook live giving 3 tips for assessing your floor plan to check if it's any good or not. Do you want the kitchen to be in the middle of the house or would you prefer it to be closer to the garden to get more natural light and ventilation? 2. Do you need direct access from your utility room to the garden? Do you go out often to hang laundry out to air dry? Do you keep your recycling in the utility and need to take it out to bins regularly? 3. Do you want the space to be more open plan or broken plan or flexible (with large doors that slide or open between spaces so you can open them up or close them down)? 4. Where do you want direct access or views of the garden? 5. What will you do in the darker parts of the house - in the middle of the floor plan (where the kitchen is now)? (hint - watching or working at a screen can be better in these spaces because there's reduced glare) 6. How many kitchen units do you want? 7. Do you have a preferred kitchen arrangement and why do you prefer it? (for example, gallery style, U shaped, L shaped, with an island, with a peninsula, etc...) For the first floor the stairs and landing are very confused. Things to think about for the 1st floor: 1. Where are the drainage and water supply pipes running? 2. Can all the floors be lifted to the same level and the stairs simplified / altered / reduced? 3. How many bedrooms do you need? How many of these need an ensuite? How big do they need to be - for double or single beds, how much wardrobe space, with space for kids to study / makeup station or dressing table, etc...? I'd get as much storage as possible out of it. I do say keep all the plumbed items as close as possible to each other. You have room for more storage. So i'd go with the washing machine under the unit with a corner cupboard for storage. Then the sink unit with another floor to ceiling cupboard for brooms etc. Shelves in the middle. So either this:- The cupboard marked Slimline is so that you have room for all the pipes to be accessed on your Megaflo, if you put a larger cupboard in you'll close the gap, so I marked it as a cupboard, but you may have room for the Fridge Freezer there instead. You have to allow 650mm on cupboards for the plumbing behind and to adjust for walls that aren't true. So if you went with 650 Unit on the left ( above pic ), then 850mm for your door and another 650 to allow for the Fridge Freezer you've used 2150mm , 5mm ( not a lot ) than you already have, so i would be wary of trying to make the room smaller. Obviously the 650mm is an allowance and you would fit those items in, but it does soon get used up.

Hi Rachel and thank you! I did draw it all out to scale and it seems to work on paper; my problem is I want everything! I want the big lawn, I want the swinging chair, I want the canopy of forest plants, I want the romantic arbour with climbing roses filling it, I want the grand waterfall and I want the huge BBQ and 8 seater table which (in my fantasy) we'd use every weekend when hosting friends and family :) My, that's a lot of I wants!!! :D (I sound like my 5 year old) I will say I do believe a lot of the above is achievable if you get things to the correct scale of your space.. So I'll have to settle for a bistro table with 4 seats around it instead of my 8 seater magnificent dining table :)
