Hey, I hope it's not too late to comment. Here are a few ideas first for the children. There is the first bedroom idea that you can use for both children, just the girl's would look girly. For the boy, the poof under the mirror could be replaced by a shoe stack or drawers or somn. The second idea is pretty cute and uses space wisely. Instead of having the bed on top, however, you could have it at the bottom and put the study desk where the white chair is. The bathroom should be children friendly in terms of colour so the wallpaper could be spongebob or something cute like that. The two ideas could be blended in terms of the cupboard design, storage shelf, toilet and shower.

Hi, in that space I would put a nice relaxing framed print and beneath it a shaker style shelf with pegs to hang pretty scarves or hats or bags. I have one in my utility room between two cupboards and it gives a lovely feel to the room as well as being useful. Mirrors are not good feng shui opposite a bed and although shoe storage is great it might be too much between the wardrobes. Pretty colours!

I have just decorated by daughter's bedroom, I used a light apple colour for the walls so it feels fresh. Also, instead of buying in art work, use your sons own 'art work' and frame them. Make a cluster of framed paintings/drawings. I also got my daughter to paint her feet and hands to make her own artwork (most kids love painting that way!) We used the same size white frames (about 8 in total) from B&Q (£7 each for A4 size). My daughter loves the fact that her own work is on the wall. Shannon
