Comments (9)Hello Chris, I don't think the room is boring at all ... The doggy is lovely isn't he! There's some really nice elements here. I wouldn't change what you have done apart from the little tables by the bed and then just add a bit to the rooms scheme.... So what about adding two wall lights... Then you can give the bed a bit more space.. You could add a little wall shelf for the book or water.. It then free's up the space around the bed.. Then add lovely textures like wool blankets or throws.. Two nice cushions like bolsters in ticking fabric to define the space there at the head of the bed and it keeps to a charming room that it is.... There are lots of creative ways to add functional aspects which compliment the aesthetic of the room beautifully... such as these lights which are a beautiful bulb wrapped around a wooden bracket.. Maybe some more old framed pics and I think it's gr8! A little wooden shelf with some lovely french metal brackets to compliment. : ))...See MoreToddler's Bedroom Paint Advice
Comments (6)Hi @Nixxy H, Our advice would be to keep walls in rather soft/pale colours and to have a feature wall. Be carefull with colours though as those influence our moods and feelings. Check our website for little help on paint colours. There are plenty of great wallpapers for kids' rooms too, but you could have a magnetic or blackboard wall instead, or two in one. You could use the wall to stick his art onto, but also to draw with chalk. Be creative for a good start. Hope you find it helpful. Kind Regards, Paintforme...See MoreBoring bedroom- help!
Comments (5)Egyptian Cotton is a very nice neutral and I have it in my bedroom! You’re right, it needs colour and art on the walls. I wonder if introducing some colour by painting the wall behind the bed in another colour may be a good start. Navy is a lovely rich tone that will create a cosy feel, which you can then accessorise with cushions and a throw on the bed. I’ve shared a photo where the owners have used a russet tone in the accessories. I don’t necessarily suggest that shade but you can see how they have dressed the room and you could use any colour you like....See Morekikiamack
