10 years agoHi. I would go for a glamorous look to go with the table. Maybe something like this from alexander and pearl? It also come in linen with wooden legs which would work well as it would contrast with the bar

Comments (14)I do like the idea of white stools, if you fancy painting the stools. I would personally paint the walls white and hang some bright coloured art (maybe with some yellow accents) - it will brighten the area. If you don't want to spend too much on the paint, either browse through the discounted section in B&Q and homebase, or buy cheap white paint (£4.00 for 5L homebase brand) and mix part of it with a paint tester of your choice for off white shade (like white + beige for lovely warm light shade of roman stone) - you're lucky to have such a lovely and well lit kitchen!...See MoreColour of bar stool

Why not consider something like these... They are really interesting to look at and either all wood or wood and metal... Think it could be nice to compliment the wood in the kitchen possibly...... So another idea you might like. It also adds some warmth and picks out the wood nicely... Different textures... .. . There are some upholstered suggestions too to allow you to tie in the dining area.. ... There are a few I really like as I tend not to like bar stools..Think the design world could produce more beauties... Such as the Cherner and the Nigel Coates versions.. .. : ))
